You can see modern social media posts even this week of collectors being hyped about this set even after I posted this video a while ago now. I’m here making the videos I would watch myself. Putting in the hard work for sure as I’ve been collecting Diecast for many years and I’m also a massive car guy too. Making content is a lot of fun and a lot of work. I got the collecting bug way back in 1999....trying to collect a model of every car ever made - but quickly realized how impossible that is! originally I thought - hey the car's only been around for 150 years- how many can there be? rlmao! Huge collection now though - I'm signing up for hoarder therapy haha

At least one of the cars that came with Team Transports doesn't even fit inside its own Team Transport truck properly, specifically the Gulf liveried Porsche 917LH which came with a Fleet Flyer where the rear wheel arches on the Porsche are wide enough that they will not fit inside the Fleet Flyer without scraping, which is not something you want to happen if you want to keep the car in nice condition.
Appreciate the insightful and awesome comment. I’ve also found this with my #2 Greddy team transport. The one with the Nissan Laurel. You can only just about push the car in backwards as shown in its packaging but when opened I can’t get mine to fit inside facing forwards. The exact! Same problem with the wheel arches. That Gulf Porsche 917 is epic by the way. So, you can see why I made this video all about the Silvia fitting inside as it’s not always something that I think Hot Wheels think through 100%. If not MAJORITU of likes I buy CASTING only but I DO BUY multi-qty of . I Got the Blue PORSCHE probably Jan or beginning of FEB == I collect all BRANDS of VW PORSCHE + I have lots of Mini GT , Tarmac , Greenlight , JL Schuco , Schuco/Tarmac Just to name a FEW . Matchbox many HAVE a Logo in base imprinted/molded of Elephant on Base
I only collect the Mainline series. The treasure hunts and super treasure hunts 3:34 I leave for other enthusiasts. On the mainline cars , I sometimes add the head- and tail lights if not printed. The Boulevard series are too expensive for me.

Haha! Sorry to inform you. But the Boulevard series is a numbered set so the packaging actually serves a real purpose this time to a collector like me who has a lot of boulevards INSIDE and OUTSIDE of their packaging 😉 the correct way to collect boulevards is the expensive route and you’re going to need multiple sets 😜

Had 1-65 or 70 in package but have grown tired of battling the thieves, I mean employees at Walmart here in America. Not sure how true it is but I’ve heard they’re going to reboot the series after 100. Dig the channel. Happy hunting. 👍🏻

I’ve found it “cheaper” to buy pre orders online now and then have fun finding extras in the wild if I can. The set I’m really looking forward to next is the Collectors Display, the one with the premium Greddy Maxima drift car! Might need 2 of those for sure. Thanks again for the kind words. Normally I thoroughly enjoy your videos, but any comparison between Mini GT and HW has very little meaning as each has its purpose. Mini GT has an astounding amount of detail as a model that happens to roll, for the price. Mini GT also uses detailed light inserts, not decals and TAMPOS for the HW Gold version.. Every Mini GT has rubber mirrors that are detailed. HW have no mirrors. 5:35 Finally you compare prices between Mini GT Hauler plus car vs a HW set sold together. Again, totally different uses. On a positive note, I love how you understand and demonstrate some basic diecast racing.

There’s a lot of wonkiness going on with the AdVAN mbk that’s for sure haha. I read that it’s based on the same vans used to transport factory workers from stations etc to Mattel Bangkok. Very interesting to know!

I only collect the Mainline series. The treasure hunts and super treasure hunts 3:34 I leave for other enthusiasts. On the mainline cars , I sometimes add the head- and tail lights if not printed. The Boulevard series are too expensive for me.

Haha! Sorry to inform you. But the Boulevard series is a numbered set so the packaging actually serves a real purpose this time to a collector like me who has a lot of boulevards INSIDE and OUTSIDE of their packaging 😉 the correct way to collect boulevards is the expensive route and you’re going to need multiple sets 😜
@@customcollects I’m just busting chops I don’t care how anyone collects. I’m actually in the process of selling off my Boulevard collection. Had 1-65 or 70 in package but have grown tired of battling the thieves, I mean employees at Walmart here in America. Not sure how true it is but I’ve heard they’re going to reboot the series after 100. Dig the channel. Happy hunting. 👍🏻

Personally I would just like to see them get to 1000. Boulevard to a very very strong series. It’s very hit and miss here in the UK. I’ve found it “cheaper” to buy pre orders online now and then have fun finding extras in the wild if I can. The set I’m really looking forward to next is the Collectors Display, the one with the premium Greddy Maxima drift car! Might need 2 of those for sure. Thanks again for the kind words. Employees are the reason I haven’t found a super treasure hunt this year. So frustrating in the UK

Normally I thoroughly enjoy your videos, but any comparison between Mini GT and HW has very little meaning as each has its purpose. Mini GT has an astounding amount of detail as a model that happens to roll, for the price. Mini GT also uses detailed light inserts, not decals and TAMPOS for the HW Gold version.. Every Mini GT has rubber mirrors that are detailed. HW have no mirrors. 5:35 Finally you compare prices between Mini GT Hauler plus car vs a HW set sold together. Again, totally different uses. On a positive note, I love how you understand and demonstrate some basic diecast racing.
