Leave a like for Susan… May she rest in peace. I can't seem to get in contact with any of her family, so I'm stuck with her ashes, no clue what to do with em. EDIT: Seems like a lot of people are unclear as to the definition of "pay to win" an element which Destiny 2 has most certainly adopted. For the sake of the Destiny community, please just speak up about this, what Bungie has done with the battle pass is not ok, and just so we're all on the same page I went and scrounged up the definition of pay to win - "Games that let you buy better gear or allow you to make better items then everyone else at a faster rate and then makes the game largely unbalanced even for people who have skill in the game without paying." Which sums up parts of the battle pass. I am serious, if we do not speak up, these elements will only get worse with each season. You are doing no favors to yourself, or this game, by defending the battle pass. UPDATE - as far as the PC migration goes, I'll be submitting my 2nd help ticket to Bungie support, hopefully this time they'll do something to help me.
I'll never understand why the final boss wasn't a nightmare version of Cayde. That would've been an amazing ending and possessed great story implications. He says something like "You let me die in that pit of a prison. You`re as incompetent as the Vanguard."
The battle pass is included with the season how tf is that pay to win?! If you think that that's pay to win destiny has always been pay to win because the new dlcs always gave you better gear
I see this argument way too much, yes you're correct buying the dlc is pay 2 win. Having access to meta defining gear and weapons from the new dlc is absolutely pay 2 win regardless of how much effort you need to put into obtaining them. The new season pass is also pay 2 win because you get instant access to a two shot handcannon in pvp. Just saying.
ToplessZombie im sorry to burst your bubble, but erianas vow is a special weapon my guy, any shotgun or erentil will do a better job. But if expansions are pay 2 win now, then i guess we should bow down to our gacha f2p overlords.
@@Rockycrusher That's just not the case my dude. The weapon has a clear niche that neither of those alternatives fill, it's basically a sniper with hand cannon zoom for easier target acquisition, and hand cannon aim assist stats. You can scream and cry about destiny dlc not being pay to win all you want, but you're wrong, and will continue to be wrong no matter how loud you are.
ToplessZombie use what you want, but don’t come to me when you finally taste that hand cannon damage falloff. And in most cases, a sniper is still better than arianas so idk what the fuck you’re talking about. But whatever, no use trying to explain weapon balancing to a pleb
The only people who dislike honest reviews like this are the same people who are the brain dead casual players Bungie specifically want to target with the recycled content.. there’s literally nothing wrong with shitting on the game you love, you do it because you love it and you know that it can be better. If you can’t see through all the bullshit Destiny 2 has to offer you’re the fucking problem, not the people tryna to fix them and Inform people.
I agree with you on some points but I enjoy playing Shadowkeep and I'm excited to see what comes next, also the season pass weapon and armor finder things are ONLY for the auto rifle and season pass armor.
It's mind blowing just how blind the fanbase has become over the years If these scummy predatory business practices were to happen in *ANY* other game there would be riots in the streets. It's genuinely embarrassing as a vet to see how far one of my favorite games has tanked. Also, Susan deserves an Oscar
It's hilarious how console players obviously dont know what an expansion is supposed to entail. I play PC and play MMOs like they're going out of style, and then my buddies had me get Destiny 2 and buy Forsaken and Shadowkeep... I actually hate my friends for having me waste my fucking money on recycled fucking content
@ronaldmcadaddy 6 What really made me pissed at Shadowkeep was the Ogre bossfight... that was ported from Destiny 1, down to how you can cheese the fight the e x a c t same way was what tipped the scales and made me uninstall the game and tell my friends to leave me alone when they want me to reinstall it. I knew the game was absolute trash when I recieved it for free and I absolutely 100% regret reserving space in my Ps4 for this game
I love coming back to this video and seeing all the fan boys cry over this review and leave comments that clearly show they didn't actually watch the video. This is why Destiny sucks even more; because the fanbase will blindly defend the game...even in the face of genuine criticism. This review is quite literally coming from a Destiny fan who wanted to like the game, get over yourself.
You do know that the battle pass comes with the dlc? And also as a dlc it isn’t really considered pay to win as like all other games it has to introduce more things to change the game up, this is basically saying that all dlcs in every game that introduces better stuff is considered pay to win as you need to buy that dlc to get it. Personally I agree that this dlc compared to the others is a step down but your statement in it being pay to win is not something I can agree with.
Totally agreed, saying that the game is pay to win is a lazy, bankrupt argument. People actually get to play most of destiny FOR FREE. People these days think they can just play games without paying anything :D and btw video game entertainment of one the cheapest hobby...so pay the damn 40 bucks if you think it gives you this much of an advantage (which it doesnt).
Nah man it was way better in d1. You could get dlc exotics without buying the dlc and got access to the new armour and legendary weapons. Now that you only get some of those it sooooo pay to win.
I agree with most of what your saying but the auto rifle you get from the pass is the rifle the drops...... Only that rifle and only the the season pass armor gets a boost. Not all armor
Cool Mew10 I’m sure there are a few shills, but most of them seem genuine to me and have actually voiced concerns in the past. Maybe they aren’t saying anything atm, but who cares if they’re enjoying the game right now
@@jirobeylavis4490 it's worth the 35$. Don't listen to a random fool with no arguments. Content sparse, yes, but guess what, dlc has been out for a week. Otherwise, worth. It.
I'm glad Bungie allowed for people like you to come in and enjoy it. Most Destiny TH-camrs are enjoying it. This guy just seems to hate for hates sake. I knew he was full of shit when he was on Actman's channel talking crap about the first Destiny.
@@saintxrage2311 nah he's probably just burnt out. The same thing is going on with Warframe TH-camrs. They have been complaining a lot lately saying "Warframe has no content wah wah wah" even tho they have thousands of hours in the game lol. Instead of just admitting they are burnt out and taking a break they go and trash the game. I got a bit burnt out from Warframe since I was playing it so much for months, but instead of trashing the game I'm just taking a break like a normal person. Now I'm playing destiny and I'm really enjoying it. My only complaint though is the way exotic quests are set up. It's literally just a tedious boring checklist and not even a quest which just really discourages me from even doing them. Damn I wrote a lot
@@punani_slayer4209 exactly. I love most things about Destiny, but I feel like I need to take a break as well. As much shit I talk about Activision I am looking forward to the new Modern Warfare.
Pulling the armor out of the pass isn’t an issue, as you can do the same thing without the season pass by repeatedly pulling gray armor out of your collections on a second character
Counter argument: if you hate the way the game is going now, it isn't made for you anymore. Shadowkeep isn't the important stuff this season, you might not realize but the story is advancing week by week and very subtly with the season of the undying.
@@happyhydralisk6885 I won't trash on destiny players for the fact that at this point anything is better than fortnite. I will say this though those of you who played d1 and d2 in it's entirety have spend too much money on DLC.
@@e-rojas3993 "shadowkeep isn't important stuff this season" should be fucking said 6 months to a year from now not a whole goddamn 2 weeks from the release. The payoff will be nothing as close to as going into the pyramid ship, maybe a some more lore, oh boy another cut-scene? Because I even doubt that with the route seasons prior went. And what settle build up? Like the raid? That came out as usual?
I will admit that I understand where your coming from with being a destiny veteran and so am I and I’m telling you this video is not at all a good FULL review of Shadowkeep. I love your reviews but I don’t agree with most things in this video, and half aren’t true. Example being the Pay to win aspect is not at all true, all weapons and armor are in the free track, buying Shadowkeep gives you the pass and yes they are putting micro transactions in your face but that’s because they are self publishing. The story is pretty good if your a veteran and know the story which you barely went into, we’re getting 3 exotic quest streamlined to us in the next couple weeks which will be free for EVERYONE, a brand new dungeon with new weapons, and more. At the end of it Shadowkeep is more Destiny but it’s not just for us veterans it’s for everyone now, F2P, cross save, more MMO elements and more fun. Try the game now and explore the moon since you can patrol it without the DLC you might find it fun. Again I love Rens reviews and have my problems with destiny 2 but I feel this video doesn’t do Shadowkeep justice for what it actually is.
So well said! I think this review was very unfair and everything I think, you nailed on the head. Especially since everyone who got Shadowkeep got the season pass for free.... and yes, they're giving people an option to buy the premium version next season, but my lord... Bungie is now the biggest "indie dev" in gaming now that they self publish. There microtransactions are nowhwre near as scummy as when they were with Activision. Now if you want something, you can buy it. No more loot boxes. I think this is not only a bad review, but best I can recall, he doesn't mention the new strikes, Raid, Dungeon that's coming, and all of the new updates to crucible. I don't really know the guy, but I think this review is borderline lying.
He really went hard on the season pass for the later half of his video. It seems like he was trying to find fault anywhere he can and uses personal experience as evidence. Like it makes good for a video but not for a arguement. Just seems like he doesnt like the game anymore and does it for the views from his own words.
some destiny 1 veterans are so pretentious they don't ever think about the new players. Shadowkeep is probably the most new player friendly expansion that brings joy for the casual group of people while also keeping og players happy.
matey. the split up was a year ago, so they would have had plenty of time to revover. also, activision was meant to be slowing them down, so they should be doing even better now; not just copy and pasting things and putting a 35 dollar prcie tag on it. and it lliterally is pay to win - you buy the season pass, you get gear, a LOAD of legendary shards, quicker catalyst progression for the vow, 3 exotic engrams, 3ascendant shards which are very rare, and also quite a few planetary materials. what do you get in the free pass? some eververse engrams...... the vow 3.5 million exp later.......and 1 exotic engram. does that seem fair?
Lord Volta ok fine yeah maybe shards aren’t that that hard to get, but 4 instead of 3 shards for dismantling saves a lot of grind time. That’s like the smallest part I’ve included, I haven’t even talked about the xp boosts that make power and artefact lvling up easier
@@makori6837 it aint P2W its in the fucking dlc if you dont buy it you wont get the exotics and get the new weapons its simple as that and it aint that expensive to buy a season pass and the things you get from the pass arent game breaking
It looks like it has gotten even worse, with sunsetting literally asking us to regrind weapons we already have. I have finally quit, honestly it's relieving.
The point of the dlc wasn’t to be the biggest content drop ever it was to set a base to add content through out the year like a mmo if a mmo dropped all its content day 1 it would die by week 3 for anyone who’s done the content
If this is the best dlc to you then your standards are beyond low. 35 dollars for a copy paste moon job, no vendor updates, and reskinned weapons and armor

Kinda is cause it gives pass owners an advantage over nonpass owners when it comes to things like pvp (aka that exotic you get which can one shot you in pvp)
its the current year all weapons you can get from the season pass is in the free slot. All items that are strictly in the paid is just ornaments, and materials.🤦♂️
You know.... I actually compared the old Moon locations to the ones in Destiny 2. In D2, they're much larger. Buildings are slightly bigger and have a bit more space. Everything is more spaced out. Either they went back to the old stuff and moved things around, or(what makes more sense) they went ahead and redid the entire Moon using the Moon from D1 as a reference point.
'The end game activities have never been Destinys' issue' A vast majority of the people that bought Destiny 2 never even get to experience it. That's by far the biggest problem.
gotta love that you use the pass as an example for "pay to win" you clearly have not played then, the pass is build in with the season, and you cant buy tiers for all these cosmetics. but hey that is pay to win apearantly. its litterally like complaining about not being able to play with for example "Lord of wolves" without buying the "forsaken" Expansion. also, the armor thing you mentioned from the pass is some bs mate, without the pass guess what, you can do the exact same thing, in an even more efficient way. level up your warlock, transfer your weapons to your hunter or titan and this handy little thing called collections lets you withdraw infinite white armors to boost your power to 900+ in seconds. and guess what, after something legendary drops it will be even higher. that example is complete bs and for someone who played destiny since the early days you clearly dont know the basics of powerleveling.
I don't think it entirely is but I still think its pretty stupid you can just fucking buy the ranks if you didn't do things. Its bungie capitalizing on lazy people.
@@micahbernard2532 If it doesn't impact the core fanbase who play regularly then it's not such a big deal... I mean it is also cosmetic and to be fair you could grind that out pretty fast if you focus on bounties that offer xp.
@@micahbernard2532 that statement is pretty lame way to see it. imagine, you have a kid, maybe 2, a job that is an hour to drive to, that 2 hours per day, at the end of the day you omly maybe got an hour, maybe less to play games. its not about being lazy, some people simple dont have time to play 5-10 hours per day to play games, and the fact that you cant buy tiers untill the end of the season is further proof of this, it is not about "paying to win" its "paying to catch up".
Honestly the content we got was more than rise of iron while being the same price and forsaken got a price drop and the first year became free. I mean what more do you want for 30 bucks
@@aresgodofgaming2309 Dude when the ratio of reused content to new content is so low that if some of it disappears its basically next to nothing there isn't much new content, I enjoyed the story (when there was an actual narrative) but you can't just say its new content when I'm fighting a watered down version of 2 bosses from destiny 2 and the rest from destiny 1. You can say you enjoy the old content being re-packaged., I don't necessarily have a problem with that.
Pay to win is extreme... it’s the same as if people didn’t get a DLC pre shadowkeep, everyone levels over you. Except, now they won’t aside from seasonal artifact bonus. As far as recycled content I agree, but it’s been 3 years since I’ve set foot on the moon in destiny 1 so it’s not like I’m still playing the same stuff as if the DLC took place in Nessus or something. All in all it wasn’t a crazy good DLC but it’s decent, and I kinda feel like your being over critical of it based on your own boredom with the game.
I wish quests were...ACTUAL quests. Doing stuff like enemy kills, or public events, or patrols is not a quest. A quest should just be a side story where an NPC rewards you for helping you. Destiny should be an RPG.
You must not have played many mmos or other similar types of rpgs if you think those types of activities don't "qualify" as quests. Destiny is a rpg. A mmo-lite fps-rpg. What you're talking about is something like mass effect aka not what this game is.
There’s many quests like you JUST described though. Many mission based quests. Whisper Thorn Outbreak Wish Ender And a few others with difficult mission variants But they can’t do that with every gun in the game and game file size is already as huge as it is which for console users, must be a strain
Leon Coombes I mean they literally made a whole new quest for the deathbringer exotic just recently. Destiny has always been this grindy though, which is kill 40 whatever enemies. You want a quest or mission but in that quest in mission you’re gonna most likely shoot 40 enemies in an area and probably a boss. What’s the difference between a 40kill bounty and a mission with 40 enemies in it. If anything, if every gun required you to complete a whole ass story mission JUST to farm a roll, people would probably find that really boring instead. With “kill 40 enemies” people have found optimal and efficient farming spots. And with something like mindbenders, people don’t care about the story or the lore of the hallowed lair, they speed run and blast through that shit to get one gun over and over. If every time you wanted a gun was some runescape dialogue simulator I’d get bored.
@@RennsReviews Hahaha. I take it you won't be purchasing it then. The thing about it is that it sound soooo unsubstantial. What have you been playing recently?
While I agree with most of what you said in this video I think it’s safe to say that bungie had a lot on their plate leading up to shadow keep. Transferring to steam and splitting with activision and having to find a new space to house the character data/server providers and making sure destiny servers work with those systems and reworking the armor system. Which is a very basic gameplay level change which I’m assuming needs a lot of thought and time taken into it. They had a lot of gameplay and technical things to change, it might have been better if they just didn’t release the dlc until they had something better. But I think it’s at least reasonable to say that the dlc didn’t have bungie a full attention for good reasons. Don’t think this is me trying to convince you to like the dlc just let you see that there’s more to it than lazy.
Not to insult you or anything but this is very fanboy ish. Youre literally making an excuse on Bungie’s while not really understanding how things work or how it takes a team to do what you are trying to make an excuse for while other teams work on other aspects of destiny content. The most that they have done because of the split is armor 2.0. Its clear to Bungie that they can do very and make a lot of money because the destiny community will either be blind fanboys and eat whatever they dish out or complain but still buy their shit. They are pilling an apple, hyping up minor changes and promising more. They are going to release shit in little bits for a premium price when in reality all of the content they release can be 2-3 major expansions. They are masters of rehashing and recycling and clearly thats where their efforts go to dude. Look at destiny in its foundation before you make excuses. Barely any loot, no quests, no challenge except not knowing how to do the raid day 1, broken meta and pvp while taking long to fix it. Their objective is to make money and notice after the activision split....mind you.....destiny fanboys blamed activision for the predatory money making mechanics, and now they are coming out with more ways to make money while not getting better at providing more and better content. I could say more but.....nah lol. Gaming companies do not have from the time of the last dlc to the next one to make new content, they work on it and future content way before and just come back to edit it and shit. So they have enough time, they just dont put enough effort.
@@justsomeguy2142 i'm glad you can offer so much expertise on game development lol. I agree with the OP. Splitting and going independent, creating a free to play version of the game and launching a new expansion with a new structure... they had a lot on their plate :).
Apparently people that enjoy playing destiny can't say anything without being called a fanboy... and apparently you're wrong if you enjoy the content and what they've added
christopher sepulveda I see what your saying but I dislike the dlc as well but I’m willing to be not as mad because I understand that they had to do in order to keep their game running independently. It’s a boring rehash, and don’t like it but I understand enough about game development to know that making all of this work again with no outside resources is hard and time consuming, especially in a short less than six month window.
Well, more than five hundred people work at Bungie and i assume that none of core gameplay programmers, level designers, designers in general and many other people participated in the transition from one platform to another. Transferring to steam has nothing to do with modeling new armor, for example. Bungie is really slow in releasing content, even after committing to a liveservice type of a game many years ago they, well, failed in building efficient work pipeline. It seems to me that now a larger part of the team is currently working on Destiny 3 and maybe some employees work on that tencent game they are planning to release before 2025. And and these are some of the reasons why the new comet dlc is so thin.
Disagree about the battle pass. Everyone who buys Shadowkeep gets it and I just see it as an extra source of loot/customisation items for players. By your logic, every destiny DLC would be pay to win since it gave us better gear. Rest of the video was spot on though.
Let's not forget quests forcing you into the different game modes, or that can take away your progress, or that require you to do a certain raid or dungeon 27 times to find these obscure objectives, and then back to the crucible so you can start working on those 7000 headshot kills with a teacup to unlock the next step. But dont get killed or you start back at 0.
As a die hard fan of Destiny 2, I am incredibly dissatisfied with Shadowkeep. Yeah, there is some fun stuff to do, but Renn is right. I am just going to reiterate some things that be said that a lot of people are complaining and berating him about. He said that if you have NOT played Destiny before, you will probably enjoy shadowkeep because it will be new to you. As a Destiny 1 launch buyer, I have spent over 1,500 in the first game. I have put in just under 1,100 hours into the second game. Therefore, shadowkeep is NOT t new to me. Another thing that stuck out was when he said the game is still fun. I think that Destiny 2 must be one of the best shooting games out there. Again, I agree with Renn here. The only reason I keep coming back and spending more hours into the game is because it is still very enjoyable. With that being said, let me say clearly that my causes of enjoyment are experienced without shadowkeep. Meaning that the activities that I enjoy are NOT apart of the shadowkeep expansion. I just want something new instead of more of the same. I remember when Destiny was great and not as mundane as it has become. As I have seen in the comments, a lot of people are enjoying this expansion. Please don't berate and disrespectfully insult me for my agreement with Renn. I am not glad I bought shadowkeep because I would have had the same amount of fun and enjoyment without the expansion. If you have some valid points that you would like to throw my way, do so. I would love to enjoy shadowkeep! That's all from me, I just felt that I needed to put in my 2 cents.
Okay, let's see: First half of video: "Oh my god it's just recycled content!" Plenty of people have been wanting D1 areas to come to D2. So ya this is them doing that. Also there's plenty of it that's new. It is far from copy/paste. Also, all of the things you complain about being too easy are the things that are supposed to be easy. The hard stuff is things like the raid and higher levels of activities like legend and master. If you're that tired of patrols and such, you probably shouldn't be playing a game like this. All of them are like this. They don't drastically change the core gameplay loop. WoW still has you doing the same "kill 10 goats and bring me their hooves" for over 15 years. That's how games like this work. The season pass: "It's pay to win!" -Thing like the "scrounger" perks only drop things from the pass, as it says aka the only thing that will get you is more Pluperfects. So not really a big advantage. -Energy boosters are nice, but hardly make or break anything. If you care about the game enough, you're going to be getting things to 10 power anyway, plus this only works for the season pass armor, so it doesn't do anything for things like the raid armor or others. -Getting armor on other characters to boost them up to 900 quickly can be done with any armor in the collections. So no this does not provide any advantage. You can literally do this with the white gear from the start of the game in your collections. It scales up to like 860. Then you can pretty much do anything for like an hour or two and be at 900. 900 is incredibly easy to get on alts regardless. -The Eriana's Vow catalyst adds 3 rounds to the magazine and gives it auto-loading holster. So no you're really not missing out on anything that big by not having it. The gun itself isn't amazingly powerful either anyway. So all in all, advantageous? Sure. But to the point of power that some other games take it? Nowhere close. Also the seasons aren't just the passes. It's new content as well. So if you like Destiny and are going to get the content anyway, the pass just comes with it. And the seasons are going to be like $10. And you won't even be able to buy your way through the pass until late in the season, so nobody can just buy everything day 1. Also, nobody is talking about that issue probably because it's pretty limited in terms of players affected. You're literally the first person I've heard having that problem. But you're right, Bungie is entirely to blame. So given the fact that the vast majority of players are pretty happy with Shadowkeep, I do agree that they deserve every bit of praise they get as a consequence.
Omega8Trigun ikr. Reminds me of the old Y1 reddit complainers. Game is currently in the healthiest and most enjoyable state it’s been since age of triumph imo, the endgame has lots of shit to do that’s pretty enjoyable. Didn’t even touch on the new nightfall stuff or the content roadmap, typical
@@kmoney7862 Yeah, most of the game is never about the story, the story is more of a leveling thing. If I had the option to not do the story on my 2nd and 3rd characters and still unlock the nightmare hunts ect I would because I've already done it and I'm already overleveled for it. Destiny as a whole is about the stuff after the main story, about the grind and most importantly, about playing with your friends, that's what really makes the experience.
Omega8Trigun it’s really not far from a copy paste. The vast majority of content is reused including the weapons and armour. The amount of reskins is crazy(outside of Eververse of course that’s all unique)
Renn I highly respect your opinion but as far as the content goes, I'm on a wait and see... Bungie had its plate full with all the steam transfers and cross play, so I can understand how the moon turned out the way it did. The story missions were really good, the vex invasion is fun (but gets old quickly) they said they will keep the content coming on a regular basis, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now as far the pay to win season pass... I agree one hundred percent, it was sad to see and I wish they hadn't added it. Also for a lot of PC players this was their very first time visiting the moon, so new content.

I’m only playing devils advocate here, but shadowkeep was made while bungie and activision were still partnered. I’d say wait till the next dlc drop and see how it is because that will be independent bungie. If it’s shit then i say give it up cause it’s not gonna get better
if you've played D1, shadowkeep is definitely not worth the money, Forsaken is pretty damn great, especially since it comes with the annual pass, giving you more bang for your buck. If you hadn't played D1, then everything in shadowkeep will be new to you, and you'll enjoy it more
So i spent 35 bucks for a 2 hour story that was mainly running around the map killing enemies and looting lost sectors over and over again, with like 5 new maps for PvP, which i don't play because of how toxic and sweaty it's become, and 2 new strikes....... y'know what, Bungie.... .... imma head out.
@Sinesta Idk how u morrons deffend this. cosmetics is fine but 20 buks for all of them is insane. How do you deffend that when they reskin everything else u can earn in game and put all the new shit in eververse
The amount of info that you are skipping out on is sad like someone who didn't listen to what bungie promised and expect everything up front instead of bungies new plan of having a smaller dlc set up, and then continuing the story through the year and adding more instead of a forsaken dlc and the small season passes. also the fact that bungie had to , downsize and adapt to not having activision as their sugar daddy, making destiny 2 free to play, transferring pc from blizzard to steam, making destiny 2 cross save freindly across all platforms. also the season pass is free for shadowkeep owners. Shadowkeep is just a set up to the story, the next 4 season are supposed to continue the story and they will have more content than the recent season because it wont be all about releasing these while they work on the next big dlc. Also the seasons are a le carte. Bungie is also getting quick with responses like how they banned jotunn from the worlds first raid a day after the bug was found. Plus armor 2.0 works for all armor, is a new system and will as a result take time to learn, at the cost of it being feel better for armor, allow better and more customization builds. Plus the finishers are useful allowing you to kill heavy opponents that are week without using more armor, the season mods that allow it to give buffs with super charge acting as its use currency. Also one thing you may notice is that Bungi does not have the season pass having purchasable levels, they may late in the season but they will decide then and it seams easy to get, plus the levels don't ramp up, every level until lvl 100 is exactly 100k xp. Plus all the reworks with the shadowkeep launch which changes the meta for everything that people are enjoying. Yes this is not a forsaken all at once complete story expansion, but they explicitly said that in their comments about destiny, plus they have had a lot on their plate and shadowkeep with the first season was way cheaper than forsaken along with shadowkeep plus the 4 season for the year was ten dollars cheaper than forsaken and the season pass was last year. Please before you get a game, manage ur expectation, look at what the game company has been working on, know that these are game designers working for a year long consistent flow of games, there is only so much they can do, borderlands 3 took 4 or 5 years to develop. Bungie is designing all year round content, of course its not going to be and big as forsaken.
This community doesn't make sense. They were all pissed off that one time iron banner featured an emote that was only attainable with silver. Now, mostly everthing in season 8 you need silver to get but since its bungie not activision it all gold. I don't completely agree on pay to win but it can and most likely will in the future. Bungie has been using the boiling frog method on us for a while.
I'm going, to be honest, I don't agree with you on the season pass being pay to win. But I do agree with you that this expansion is just reskinned garbage. And it's a shame that people keep d**k riding Bungie and praising them for selling them old content. Even the raid gear is a reskin which I find just laughable. And than Bungie also has the balls to say they can't bring back stuff we actually liked like trials when they clearly can. It's just sad man, been playing since alpha till now and to see them on the decline again just breaks my heart because now I know it's not just Activision's fault.
This was a really good watch, and as someone who's nearly gotten every item in Shadowkeep that isn't time gated, I can agree with everything regarding the monotony of the recycled shit. I do have to say however, that you misunderstood the season pass "advantages". They aren't for ALL legendaries, only the ones that you get out of the season pass ranks, and the weapons then become random drops, allowing you to farm them to get better rolls since they're only on the reward track once. And since these benefits will be lost once the season ends, it kind of doesn't matter.
Again!? Didn't they do that back in destiny 1 then proceed to burn everything that the learned with destiny 2 then proceed to burn everything with forsaken. Now they are burning it again with shadowkeep. That's like three times that they are doing this. I don't think bungo has learned anything and this is there third strike so I'm walking out
Lmao I just realized that Destiny players are so similar to Skyrim’s vampires: they’re just rape victims with Stockholm syndrome. Maybe even worse because they’re amnesiacs.
Slaps? 😅🤣😂 This DLC is trash my dude. Everything since Forsaken has been downhill, and I have been a fan of Destiny since the beginning. The trailer had more content than the DLC itself
Undead 12335 do you really think materials impact leveling? Also, the season pass is free, not to mention the easy ass bounty that gives you 50 planetary materials for each damn planet
While i agree with alot of points i will say that this dlc could've turned out this way because of the whole split with Activision so bungie might have had alot their plate during development and if that's case then bungie should say something about because then alot flaws in this dlc become understandable
Bringing back the old moon was necessary. The hellmouth is one of the most recognizable locations. The moon is nearly twice the size of it's former self, too. Mission one was cinematic, and the part where you turn the corner to [SPOILERS AHEAD] see the pyramid was one of the coolest parts of any destiny mission ever. The last mission ended abruptly, but besides that, I adored the campaign. And the season pass comes with the season, which has always provided advantages. The ranks can only be purchased at the VERY end of the season. I think you make a few fair points, but you don't talk about anything that it did WELL, which was a fair amount.
Lou 3000 ikr? I love destiny 2 but sometimes it can be shamful to be a fan. What bungie did was terrible and the other mindless fans need to not see bungie as a “god”
I find the game fun but I agree with most of the bad things that are said about it - they are simply facts. I still play the game and have fun, but there is a lot of bullshit in this game. At least it’s free to play now and I got into it recently having previously played D1.
Let me get this straight. *_*sigh_** Did he just made a rant about the Moon... for being the same Moon since last time ? Well, no shit Warlock, what did you expected ? A Blood Moon ?
And... that's why I quit Destiny, 2 weeks after the release of Destiny 1. It was clear from the start they had no direction...when all the events were scripted, rare loot was common as fuck and made all the other weapons you acquired redundant within one day of starting the game. And the story had to be read online.. like, wtf ..
Hey so I’m 960 in d2 and I just wanna say that all the armour you get from the season of undying battle pass is borderline useless, you don’t need the battle-pass nor does it help for you to level up it’s just like it was before you level up doing raids and nightfalls and other high level activities, yes though it does count for kinda pay2win if you count 2% bonus’s although it only 2% which in the long run wouldn’t really matter. the two guns you get (the long ranged auto rifle and light machine gun) are dodo water and are out classed by guns that you can get without buying the battle pass or anything like 21% delirium and that hayran-d or hayan-d Hakke auto rifle. I think that at this point in the games life recycled content is whatever, for me I only care for the people I meet and the experiences I have with them.
Renn's relationship with Destiny at this point is that dad who wants to disown their kid for all the stupid shit that they've done but can't bring themselves to do so because they still love their kid at the end of the day and wants what's best for them despite the disappointment.
Yeah because the paid battle pass giving you the exotic earlier and making grinding a million times faster definitely isn’t egregious at all. Sure, it isn’t pay to win but it’s still very anti consumer
I am a hardcore player and I feel disappointed with the way this game is going. First of all I don’t really mind that the moon is a returning destination, or that stuff like nightmare hunts are like d1 strikes. But what I really hate is that the eververse store now has items that should be in the raid in the store, and the increased amount of items that are silver only in the store this season. Also Bungie reskins season 2 eververse armour for the raid set, doesn’t refresh vendor loot and they don’t add any new world drops like they did in forsaken and previous expansions. It really sucks when so much of the cool loot is from eververse and you have to spend real money for it when we used to be able to earn most of this stuff in season 4, 5 and 6. Eververse has just been getting worse since season 5, with the removal of the prismatic matrix in season 6 and bringing in silver only items in that same season, and also giving us best of year one engrams in season 7 instead of the usual seasonal engram. We used to be able to earn 9 engrams pretty quickly with the well rested xp buff that was on all 3 of your characters, but now it is account wide and it’s only for 5 levels (you get one engram for 5 levels after season rank 100) . And we still don’t get an engram that gives stuff from the current season, instead we got a best of year 2 engram this season. Bungie seems to be getting greedier with every season and instead of letting us earn this loot from activities or letting us earn most of the eververse stuff for free, they make most of the items silver only and add cosmetics that should be from the raid into the store. What also sucks is many players grinded for the solstice set and bought all the glows and now that armour is useless so we basically wasted like 40 hours of playtime and 15k bright dust.
an expansion that typically gets a 7 or an 8 from reviewers and possibly the biggest playerbase the game has ever had... yep... it's all on Bungie... nice work :).
@@milzhere Except it's not. It may be the same area on the moon, but there is a lot of it that has changed. Anyone who says it's a reskin is either delusional or is just parroting what they've heard from others. And also let's just leave out all the big systems changes and new armor and weapons, new activities. But no we'll just ignore all that because the one public area is an updated version of an area from D1. rofl.
as someone that has never played this game, now that its free ive been having a blast playing through everything but im wondering if im going to get bored of it when i beat all the quests and story and max level... i have a blast playing PVP and PVPVE tho and i dont even have friends to play with
If you're on ps4, I'll play with you! These are one man's opinions... I peresonally think his review was very hyperbolic, & leaves out a lot of content that is new.... raid, strikes, the actual story adds to the world and the lore, new pvp maps, and overhauling Armor. If you're on ps4, send me a friend request! Mike-D2818
So it's worth it if I missed Destiny 1? The "recycled content" doesn't really effect a person in my shoes who started in Forsaken or in the shoes of people who are playing the game for free that might not have played before. Even though I do know that the "new player" experience isn't the best, since it feels like there isn't a very clear direction of where to go / what to do right away unless you know what you're doing.
Regarding any cosmetic store stuff etc. I got 6k bright dust in a week from all bountys. And all the armor and imo important things will be in rotation. This has been the fairest it ever was. If you play the game you're good. I can't really see the pass being p2w sorry. I mean if you consider all dlc's p2w then yes but then you are at the wrong place ^^'. They try something different with their evolving story over time i'll judge when it's finished. Vex offensive isn't really memorable but i'll wait till the final aussault. And for endgame you have a new Raid which is received overall pretty good and a Dungeon and the Nightfall difficultys are really fun finally you don't just stomp trough :]. And i give em the benefit of the dought of the new light and steam stuff so i'm overall okay with the whole thing. I get where you come from as a veteran but i feel it's a bit harsh as a overall review since you gotta look at the newcomers and casuals too.
Your comment probably won’t get much traction sadly because you made solid, accurate points. The only comments that get traction are poorly made, inaccurate and easily to warp to anyone’s agenda,. But I digress, I really agree with everything you’ve said and I can understand where he’s coming from but it’s a bit too harsh and there’s a lot of points easily refuted.
Gives you exotics, high stats armor, armor for seasonal mods on level 1 You CANNOT buy everything from eververse EVEN if you will grind EVEN gambit on 3 characters Vex offensive final assault Dude, i am not even going to comment this The only good things that you are right about-poh is decent, raid is kinda ok, and yes, nightfalls are the best addition of sh keep And story. Its awful blue balling. Next season is season of the worthy. Worthy dont sound like something pyramid oriented, and we already have a teaser for ANOTHER warmind and osiris, but now in 1 season And additionally, i am pvp player. I sit there and simply help my teammates in comp. And i am fucking scared. Dont they dare to release trials, when there are such things as double fireball dawnblade melees and contr holds Plus, comp sucks. It was a challenge for me to get 2100 in sewson 4 and 5. I dropped the game for 6 and 7. And when ive came back with almost no fps practice during the summer, ive got 3500 In 1 Fucking Evening Ive got legend In 1 Week I couldnt even dare to hope to get it before. It was too tough for solo player, even despite me grinding comp for luna for 7 hrs per day. And when ive came back, it turns out, that on pc luna has no purpose, not forgotten is MUCH worse than luna and has no point and the legend is not even a milestone anymore. I, the dude who struggled for weeks to get luna, now was able to carry quite a few people to legend by far. There is going to be outbreak of unbrokens in the next season
And yeah, nightfalls are cool and all, but 2 izas and divinity is the only normal way to play them without planning tougher than before the raid and good communication And now, in the game where every fucking bossfight requires you to use sniper, they are going to nerf it to preshadowkeep state. When people complained how weak are they. The best part is-izanagi will still be the only option for nfs.
There are several things wrong with this video. Pay to win? I’m about to prove that wrong. The season pass is NOT pay to win. Not by a long shot. All of the things in the “paid scroll” are all cosmetic, things like weapon and armor ornaments, shaders, transmit effects, etc. the only case here, is the fact that eriana’s vow, an exotic hand cannon, unlocks at tier 1 for paid and tier 35 for free, which is a gap, but nothing like the grind walls we see in Star Wars battlefront 2. Recycled content? Now I can see where you can get that idea. Several d1 and d2 bosses and locations are recreated, like the moon and several nightmare hunts. But you also have to consider that Bungie doesn’t have nearly as much dough now that activison is out of the picture. But there is plenty of new content here: the Scarlett fortress, the new io strike, the dungeon, the raid, and some new nooks and crannies on the moon. Definitely more than Mercury. However due to the loss of profit and funding, Bungie did meet to tweak the eververse store a bit by featuring less options for bright dust and more for silver (still 100% cosmetic). Plus, how could you say Bungie is greedy? New light made half the game free.
@@jy1178 The catalyst boosters do speed up the process of a lengthy catalyst I admit, but it's a catalyst that you can still do without the pass, and you dont get all that much from the catalyst. You get 3 more shots and a auto loading holster, and that by no mean is ground breaking or OP, hell it wouldn't even effect how one plays with the Vow all that much. You dont just start winning cause you have the catalyst, so your not really paying to win, paying for sure, but not to win. The XP boosters on a surface level look pay to win, and from making a new charecter at level 1 to getting them all the way up to level 50 it could be used to cut a 1 week leveling grind to about 4-5 days, but level 50 is a baseline, you need to be level 50 to really dig into alot of the endgame activitys and a majority of players are already level 50, so what do they get from it? Engrams, cosmetic eververse engrams, and only cosmetics come from them. Every time you would level up past 50 you just get cosmetics, not a power level increase or a better gun, just cosmetics. And sure you need XP to progress through the season pass and to get more mods from you artifact, but that is all intrinsic to the pass. Woopdee do you spent 10 dollars so instead of spending 1 hour getting a season pass level you can get a level in 50 minutes, congrats here's 25 legendary shards and 50 planetary materials. Alot of the Artifact perks are used for this season anyway, with vex interactions, which the only vex interactions your having is in the vex offensive and in the raid, which are behind the season pass anyway. Thats complaining about the player who bought the content being able to equip the perks used for that content faster than those who didnt purchese the content and wouldn't have a substantial use for the perks anyway. Basically your paying but it sure as hell isn't pay to win, XP dosent matter since activitys are mostly locked behind power level, not levels, and power level dosent run on XP. Catalyst dosent matter so the boosters are really only there for the efficenados who really want that catalyst because the like the gun, not because the gun becomes OP with it. And really the people who bought it spend 10 dollars on getting consistent cosmetics.
One thing to keep in mind, not only were they making Shadowkeep, and season of the undying, setting up cross save, moving to steam, porting to stadia, and retuning year 1 content for new light, it's no wonder stuff was recycled.
Thank you. I've felt this for awhile. It's ALL the same crap. Forsaken was ok, but I'm so tired of playing reskinned everything. I guess we have to wait for destiny 3 to fight new enemies.
Playing the victim here and acting like Bungie is predatory when they have one of the most generous F2P models (almost too generous, as many new light players feel overwhelmed and overstimulated by the options offered) on the market and split from the most controversial publishers in recent memories is kind of pathetic. My best guess is you've just fallen out of love with the game and decided to try to justify that valid opinion by making mountains out of mole hills. The pass is absolutely not pay 2 win. You can get all 100 levels done with about 100 hours in the game, free or paid. Almost all of the gear is available in the free tier, with the exception of some cosmetic stuff and additional chances at rolls. >almost nothing [about the moon] has changed - Sure, the moon absolutely isn't twice the size, featuring brand new areas, changed old areas, and vast new lost sectors within buildings previously locked off. Oh, you mean it has? Shadowkeep isn't really recycled content. People wanted to go back to Destiny 1 locations, and Shadowkeep delivers, moving the story of the world forward while updating us on what's happened in the last 3 years or so. Bungie is moving towards and evolving world, and an integral part of that is seeing how important destinations of the past have evolved. If they continue to just lift destinations from D1 I'd understand frustration, but so long as they're free (yes, the moon is free as are all destinations) I'm not going to complain too much. Destiny finally feels like it's become the game we were advertised in 2013, and I'm happy about it. If you're not on the wagon or feel scorned that's fine, but you can't keep making stuff up and expecting people to just believe you. At best you're spreading misinformation and at worst you're deliberately misinforming people to get them angry, and that's not productive for anyone.
Bungie's f2p model is so generous it charges $35 for a single dlc plus more for another annual pass! All these other greedy ass f2p models like Fortnite or Warframe really want no money for updates and expansions. That's why I hate them so.
Bad4You ahh yes warframe the game that Shafts the vets with ttk levels of content drought and lots of tennogen. also the big paid content for forsaken is the 3 raids and dungeon. Some of the best stuff is free ie zero hour, whisper, menagerie and other side plus 3 raids and the moon dreaming and tangled.
This pisses me off. 1st of all deathbringer is not the last aspect of Shadowkeep. Try doing something hard in the game like a raid or secret quests. 2nd pay to win is complete bullshit. None of the rewards in the battle pass grant any competitive advantage 3rd people wanted to see some aspects from d1 inside d2, it’s what the player base was looking for. You calling yourself a destiny OG makes me sick. Finally, you’re not forced to grind power for the raid. Most hardcore players will grind like that, as a casual you’re not forced to. You can play casually and level. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
Definitely some valid complaints, but this just sounds like who's burnt out and doesn't like destiny anymore. Also if I understand this correctly, did you just review Shadowkeep without playing it? That would explain why you don't know that the season pass to get the season armor comes WITH the season itself
A rundown of the destiny franchise Destiny 1- disaster The dark below- even worse House of wolves- first bit of ok content Ttk- the best the franchise has to offer Rise of iron- better most Destiny 2- disappointing disaster Curse of osiris- the worst of destiny Warmind- equally shit Forsaken- watered down ttk Annual Pass- worse than season pass Shadowkeep- recycled rubbish Yeah.....what a great franchise
"Pay to win" nothing thats given, gives a power advantage. You still have to work for everything in the pass, nothing is given outright that cant be earned or that is overpowered. Bungie didn't recycle content Activision did. They even said they'd be reusing the old map they did have to rebuild it as its a different source engine. The ending was a Open possibly to the AnontheNine Leaks which makes sense if you read that. The salvation phrase can lead to darkness guardians.
As a destiny fanboy, I hate to hear it but I’ve been watching you since your curse of Osiris video and agreed with you ever since then. I do totally agree with you but I can’t put the controller down. I love this franchise, the music, gameplay(most of it anyway *cough* one eyed mask), but destiny’s my game, and I rather waste my time and life playing it and dealing with bungies bullshit then not play it at all.
Just FYI , it would have taken just as much time making a new destination as making the moon. Also the hellmouth does have new PE’s. There’s still shit on the moon we haven’t figured out ( The daito shit, dungeon, nightmares). And about the first mission being bland, you can say hat about anything: ‘oh regicide was just a boring mission with some boss it was pretty bad’. In general, you just seem done with the game, it doesnt have that magic for you anymore.. just quit it and play something else
For the sake of the Destiny community, please just speak up about this, what Bungie has done with the battle pass is not ok, and just so we're all on the same page I went and scrounged up the definition of pay to win - "Games that let you buy better gear or allow you to make better items then everyone else at a faster rate and then makes the game largely unbalanced even for people who have skill in the game without paying."
Which sums up parts of the battle pass.

The battle pass is included with the season how tf is that pay to win?! If you think that that's pay to win destiny has always been pay to win because the new dlcs always gave you better gear
Hans Olo I agree, as soon as you get the dlc you get the pass

@ronaldmcadaddy 6 what made it more annoying for me was how Forsaken, an actual original expansion, was cheaper then that crap
I love coming back to this video and seeing all the fan boys cry over this review and leave comments that clearly show they didn't actually watch the video.
Just seems like he doesnt like the game anymore and does it for the views from his own words.

gotta love that you use the pass as an example for "pay to win" you clearly have not played then, the pass is build in with the season, and you cant buy tiers for all these cosmetics. but hey that is pay to win apearantly. its litterally like complaining about not being able to play with for example "Lord of wolves" without buying the "forsaken" Expansion. also, the armor thing you mentioned from the pass is some bs mate, without the pass guess what, you can do the exact same thing, in an even more efficient way. level up your warlock, transfer your weapons to your hunter or titan and this handy little thing called collections lets you withdraw infinite white armors to boost your power to 900+ in seconds. and guess what, after something legendary drops it will be even higher. that example is complete bs and for someone who played destiny since the early days you clearly dont know the basics of powerleveling.

Borderlands 3 exist. Like right now. The exact quest design. Playable.
Whisper
Thorn
Outbreak
Wish Ender
And a few others with difficult mission variants
But they can’t do that with every gun in the game and game file size is already as huge as it is which for console users, must be a strain
Leon Coombes
I mean they literally made a whole new quest for the deathbringer exotic just recently.

Man if you thought Shadowkeep sucked I can't wait for what you have to say about Beyond Light.
I remember when people wanted things from D1 such as the cosmodrome.. moon etc...
We get those things back and we're still mad? Jeez lol..
16:00 hey thats me
Okay, let's see:
First half of video: "Oh my god it's just recycled content!"
Plenty of people have been wanting D1 areas to come to D2.
The season pass: "It's pay to win!"
-Thing like the "scrounger" perks only drop things from the pass, as it says aka the only thing that will get you is more Pluperfects.

Gotta say man - this ain't it. Shadowkeep slaps, and it's simply laying the foundation for the next year of content
This aged soooo bad
You’re like the only person who doesn’t like shadowkeep
"Pay to win" are you slow or something?
You get extra materials which make it easier to level
@@undead12335 you're stupid as hell.
Undead 12335 do you really think materials impact leveling? Also, the season pass is free, not to mention the easy ass bounty that gives you 50 planetary materials for each damn planet
THANK YOU!!!
@@undead12335 You can earn and use in game currency to get said materials. Try again.
So true. Destiny 2 still sucks even after the break up lol.. damn those Fanboys in the comments section makes me want to throw up lol.
*_*sigh_**
Did he just made a rant about the Moon... for being the same Moon since last time ?
Well, no shit Warlock, what did you expected ? A Blood Moon ?
And... that's why I quit Destiny, 2 weeks after the release of Destiny 1. It was clear from the start they had no direction...when all the events were scripted, rare loot was common as fuck and made all the other weapons you acquired redundant within one day of starting the game. And the story had to be read online.. like, wtf ..
Nicely done...and very much on point! GG
2% makes difference only in the long run
Armor from s p has great stats
Season pass owners badically dont have to log in on twinks to get the title
Isn't the battlepass included with the dlc?
I disagree with some if the stuff u said but ur entitled to ur pov
i like how u include good destiny content creators

It still baffles me these guys made the Halo trilogy.
343* google fam
@@massuhb3958 are you seriously implying that 343 made the halo trilogy?

Branden Venable, 343 and Microsoft are the reason why Halo is completely irrelevant.
It's not Bungie without Joe Staten and Marty o' Donnell
At least we still have d1 I guess.
Bungie: Game is free now
Ren: Why are you so greedy!!!!! >:(
Edgemister Gaming okay boomer did you just see the video and ignore everything and all the facts and points Renn brought up?
You're starting to sound like respond when they call everybody freeloaders
Renn's relationship with Destiny at this point is that dad who wants to disown their kid for all the stupid shit that they've done but can't bring themselves to do so because they still love their kid at the end of the day and wants what's best for them despite the disappointment.
i like this analogy, it's gone from my videogame wife, to my son.
Hol up
that like to dislike ratio, holy moly
Cekh FN yep, that’s the bungie fanboy brigade for you
Eh not gonna lie I'm watching this while playing destiny 2, I enjoy a solid review, even if I disagree with parts.
At least the fanboys can't use the "It's all Activision's fault" anymore. This is on Bungie, 100 percent.
Don't see how it's pay to win when I'm still kicking ass with year 2 weapons.
Except Bungie didn’t do anything wrong and this guy’s issue with the DLC are entirely his problem.
@@thesilliestgoose5990 My dude the entire expansion is a reskin. The game is still broken. What more could they do wrong at this point?
an expansion that typically gets a 7 or an 8 from reviewers and possibly the biggest playerbase the game has ever had... yep... it's all on Bungie... nice work :).
Mike-D2818
For those of you that want to venture into the comments, it’s not pretty, regardless of how you look at this game.
Shut up
max kraus uhhh, no?
So it's worth it if I missed Destiny 1? The "recycled content" doesn't really effect a person in my shoes who started in Forsaken or in the shoes of people who are playing the game for free that might not have played before. Even though I do know that the "new player" experience isn't the best, since it feels like there isn't a very clear direction of where to go / what to do right away unless you know what you're doing.
if you havent played D1, the moon and all the recycled stuff will probably be a treat for you.
@@RennsReviews i didnt really play too much d1, but i still feel fucking bored as fuck with this game
Gives you exotics, high stats armor, armor for seasonal mods on level 1
You CANNOT buy everything from eververse EVEN if you will grind EVEN gambit on 3 characters
Vex offensive final assault
Dude, i am not even going to comment this
The only good things that you are right about-poh is decent, raid is kinda ok, and yes, nightfalls are the best addition of sh keep
And story. Its awful blue balling. Next season is season of the worthy. Worthy dont sound like something pyramid oriented, and we already have a teaser for ANOTHER warmind and osiris, but now in 1 season
And additionally, i am pvp player. I sit there and simply help my teammates in comp. And i am fucking scared. Dont they dare to release trials, when there are such things as double fireball dawnblade melees and contr holds
Plus, comp sucks. It was a challenge for me to get 2100 in sewson 4 and 5. I dropped the game for 6 and 7. And when ive came back with almost no fps practice during the summer, ive got 3500
In 1
Fucking

Ive got legend

I couldnt even dare to hope to get it before.
And yeah, nightfalls are cool and all, but 2 izas and divinity is the only normal way to play them without planning tougher than before the raid and good communication
And now, in the game where every fucking bossfight requires you to use sniper, they are going to nerf it to preshadowkeep state. When people complained how weak are they. The best part is-izanagi will still be the only option for nfs.
New lighters from september finished everything long time ago

Kamstamizer he’s a bit of a shill
yeah... I frequently disagree with him, he seems like a cool guy though, I think him and I could have an excellent discussion with one another.
@@RennsReviews I would be interested in seeing that
There are several things wrong with this video.
There are xp boosters and catalyst boosters in the premium pass.
I feel like this review is pretty toxic. This doesn't help anyone and much less bungie. This would've been much better kept to yourself.
It’s pretty much the equivalent of people ranting on reddit about the servers being down on day 1 of the expansion
Imagine calling a review toxic
Person Human it’s less of a review and more of a “I’m unhappy with what I have and I need an outlet and platform to bitch about it on”
Best D2 content isint aviable to new light players
If you wana know thats truely is genarous try path of exiles or warframe
A rundown of the destiny franchise
Destiny 1- disaster
The dark below- even worse
House of wolves- first bit of ok content
Ttk- the best the franchise has to offer
Rise of iron- better most
Destiny 2- disappointing disaster
Curse of osiris- the worst of destiny
Warmind- equally shit
Forsaken- watered down ttk
Annual Pass- worse than season pass
Shadowkeep- recycled rubbish
Yeah.....what a great franchise
"Pay to win" nothing thats given, gives a power advantage. You still have to work for everything in the pass, nothing is given outright that cant be earned or that is overpowered.
Bungie didn't recycle content Activision did.
They even said they'd be reusing the old map they did have to rebuild it as its a different source engine.
The ending was a Open possibly to the AnontheNine Leaks which makes sense if you read that. The salvation phrase can lead to darkness guardians.
Ya people who say destiny is "Pay to win" are just plain dumb
Honestly i think its good that the content is kinda bare bc it just fits more as background while you and your friends talk
I completely understand... I think I'm in the same boat as you.
