The song I most associate with Johnnie when he had his lunchtime radio one show in the early 70s was The Joker by Steve Miller Band. He played it years before it became a hit and was so unusual at the time, a great record that has stood the test of time. 😎 RIP Johnnie. Happy New Year to you Steve, stay safe! I am still laughing at a story Johnny told a few years back. I n his younger years he got into serious trouble (I think sacked) for playing Dead Shunk in the middle of the road by Loudon Wainwright the third on a lunchtime show whilst in the U.S Rock on Johnny!
