@@OmegaZeroX28 because the Naaru is a creature made of pure light ( and cristals) and Patrick, as the Ashbringer is a paladin, a knight who uses is sword and the holy powers of the light to fight the forces of darkness

but here i am absolutely stunned by how amazing this looks and the music just makes it even better

@@MAGICMUSHI3335 you're absolutely correct, this definitely has a way up level higher than Canon things, like UI Shaggy. It would be the best thing this company could do if Blizzard themselves added Patrick The Ashbringer/Lich King to their game. Could revive an entire series.
After acquiring the Ashbringer, Patrick the Pure ventured to one of the darkest places known to the Eastern Kingdoms, the corrupted forest of Duskwood. There, he brought the light of ten thousand suns to the darkened forest, purging the undead from its hallowed groves, and brought light back to the land, at the cost of a Naaru's transcendent glow.
With his task now finished, he ventures away from the now fully restored Brightwood, where he returns the Ashbringer to the great unknown, closing this chapter of the Ashbringer's legacy. As of what became of Patrick the Pure following these events? Well, legends say he returned to his homeland, reunited with old friends, where over a burger or two, he shared his stories of his time as "The Pure", and when asked about the golden blade he carried on his back, he simply stated that he returned it to the place he felt it belonged. Being "The Pure" was a weight that Patrick shouldered in isolation, he wouldn't even wish that upon his worst enemy. As such, he ensured that the blade would remain out of reach, that way no-one else would be cursed to carry on that legacy.
The tale had finished.
Actually teared up from the cinematography accompanied by this kind of music. This is insanely good. I don't even know why the 3 suns imagery moved me so much...

he matched the climaxes of action and music at the same time - Patrick triumphs over evil the music as the becomes triumphant, modulating into a major key in Baroque style akin to J.S. Bach, as flowers bloom in once gloomy Duskwood like it's Easter morning

I watch the Ashbringer video all the time. It gives me so much motivation. I never search for "patrick the pure" when I want to watch it, but today I did and I saw this. What a gift

So, let me summarize the buffs/powers Patrick the Pure uses and correct me if I'm wrong: Seal of Command imbues the Ashbringer with holy light that disintegrates the undead, Avenging Wrath gives Patrick the Pure augmented Holy Damage, Attack Speed and Damage as well as increased Movement Speed and the ability to throw AND recall the Ashbringer, and Ten Thousand Suns saves Patrick the Pure from a fatal blow by instantly killing any undead within it's radius while restoring life to a desecrated area at the cost of losing the Naaru he serves and his paladin powers. Sound about right?
What was the last part about with throwing Ashbringer to the hand in the water?

Honestly, I can see Patrick being the Canon hero of Azeroth who wielded the Ashbringer after Tirion. He just walks up onto the Broken Shore, loots it off of Tirion's body, and becomes the greatest hero Azeroth has ever seen.
I know nothing about Warcraft (except some bad publicity) but the Naaru's death was the most saddest thing in this wonderfully edited video. It was like something beautiful had died.

Why is this better than any in game lore cinematic we've gotten since WoTLK. Like seriously, insane editing, good fight scene, a heroic story and absolutely fitting music. Yeah i'm thinking fire all the furries in blizzard and hire Leo here to fix your damn game's lore and storytelling.
My memories of warfract fill me with so much joy, and I find fascinating that in spite of the game's current state amazing content like is this sometimes emerges.

Jokes aside, back in vanilla, this is exactly how it felt to play your paladin in duskwood and finally be able to use your abilities.
I literally shed tears of both admiration and sadness when dark souls music kicked in and nature bloomed once more
3:01: Damn even Patrick the Pure cried for the lives he had to destroy. These creatures of Darkness probably killed countless innocent souls. Yet he still finds a reason to cry for their lost souls. Now this is true heroism. Weep not for the loss of innocent lives but for the souls who lost their innocence. For it is they who truly need your help.
Gotta appreciate how patrick was praising the rising sun during his ultimate attack while Dark Souls music was playing.
