With the presence of the dermititis, the new sole horn eventually delaminates from the corium, allowing the muck and slurry to burrow in, then a new layer tries to grow and the cycle just keeps repeating. Again, your knife work revealed this to us in great detail. I can't even imagine the pain of walking around with ALL THAT going on on the bottom of my foot! Truly a great tutorial video of how your expertise gets these "little cows" on the mend. Thanks for sharing your work with us. Good job!

Your videos are an unending source of fascination. No two trims in which a hoof has a problem are the same. I find myself unable to look away wondering what will be revealed. I don't want cows to have sick feet just so I can watch you fix them, but I sure do like watching you fix them when they need it.

Poor thing. It really didn't look like the thin layer trimming was going to end! Each swipe of the knife revealed more loose horn. But it was satisfying to see her walk after her first few steps out of the crush! As always, "Good Job"!

After seeing all the horn you removed it was no no wonder the poor beast was so lame. Sometimes it hurts to see how messed up some of those cows' feet are. It was good to see how well that cow was walking after you finished. Good work!
I am Canadian and I remember Mr. Muscle ads on TV where Mrs. Garrett from The Facts of Life would say "Mr. Muscle, a good man to wake up to." We lived close to the border so it was probably an American channel.
Altough I like to watch Tech TV, Gareth's hoof trimmings make me grinch sometimes. He seems to be the most speedy and a little more incautious than Nate or the Hoof GP. But I'm no farmer, just sitting on my sofa with my dog on my lap... 😄🤷🏻♀️
sorry to disagree with you, but I don't think "Master" shows any sympathy for those poor mistreated donkeys he work on. I wish some animal welfare group would donate some decent tools to him and some training.
