- Last month, UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie Pitt visited Azraq camp to meet with refugees recently arrived from Syria, and called on the international community to do more to assist those trapped at the border.
High Commissioner Filippo Grandi noted that this was her 14th trip to the region since the start of the crisis and praised her commitment to raising awareness of the plight of refugees.

We are welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan most of part of the world..My prayer for those refugees...the needy and those coping up with their loss...be due to war or pandemic covid 19 recovering well and have their life back....Thank you Angelina for braving to bring us to their crumbled living room .. .we do have our down days and complaining for so little shortcomings though we actually living in abundance... that little girl lost her limbs yet able to put on a smile and selfishlessly asking her mom take good care of her little brother...making sure she sound so cheerful over the line...cos not wanting her mum to feel her pain....
This is heartbreaking, but at the same time it's just so beautiful to see the help and happiness that you give others (meaning every single person that works at UNHCR) ❤️❤️
