Bloody amazing there Tim, you are as sick as a dog yet you manage to fix this T2 board in the blink of an eye. Get some rest and thanks for the video and the great diagnostic tips at the start

Thanks for the tip about the PPBus voltage related to the T2.

    Tim, way to go, definitely!
Thank you for that collab with Dr. Jones - these x-rays were enlightening at the case that carbon tends to form inbetween the board layers. Your photos were these pictures that _really_ worth a thousand words.

Hey, where do you get the boardview/schematics for this model?

I have the same model with a strange behavior:
    - Battery connected PPBUS_G3H is 12.6V (USB-C Ports: 20V / 1.34A) -> No problem restoring via DFU
    - Battery disconnected PPBUS_G3H is 12.27V (USB-C Ports: 5.13V / 0.25A) -> Cant restore via DFU (Error/Timeout)
    How is this even possible?
Any idea what I can check?

You usually need a charged battery to restore DFU. History of device?

      @@TCRSCircuit MacBook Air 2019 (820-01521-02) - PPBUS_G3H low „12.25V“ - no boot
      Hi,
the following values are measured will the logicboard was connected to the charger (without battery):
      - PPBUS_G3H = 12.25V
      - PP3V3_G3S = 0V
      - PP3V3_G3H = 3.246V
      - PP3V3_G3H_RTC = 3.29V
      - PPDCIN_G3H = 5.1V
      - PP1V8_S5 = 0V
      - PP3V3_S5 = 0V
      - PP5V_G3S = 0V
      - PP3V3_TBT_X_S0 = 0V
      - PPVDDCPU_AWAKE = 0.7V
      - PPVDDCPUSRAM_AWAKE = 0.9V
      - PP0V82_SLPDDR = 0.8V
      - PP1V1_SLPS2R = 1.1V
      - PP0V9_SLPS2R = 0.9V
      - PP1V8_SLPS2R = 1.8V
      - CHGR_PHASE1 = 5.1V
      - CHGR_PHASE2 = 5.1V
      - CHGR_BOOT1_RC = 10.44V
      - CHGR_BOOT2_RC = 10.04V
      - PPVCC_S0_CPU = 0V
      - PP20V_USBC_XA_VBUS = 5.1V
      - PP20V_USBC_XB_VBUS = 5.1V
-> Tried DFU mode + T2 firmware restore = no success.
Same scenario just with battery + charger I get at first 5.13V / 0.47A after replugging the charger I get 20V / 1.30A.
-> With battery connected I can successfully complete the T2 firmware restore …. Sadly still blackscreen.
Note: Trackpad is clicking and caps lock key green light is working / no keyboard backlight.
Any idea what could be wrong or what I should I check next? I assume the U7000 is fine because the PPBUS_G3H is stable, so no pulsing.
But it seems like there is an issue between T2 and PMIC.
Here are the power rails of the T2 chip (ohm):
      - PPVDDCPU_AWAKE 13.1 Ohm
      - PP0V82SLPDDR 31.6 Ohm
      - PPVSSCPUSRAM_AWAKE 139.9 Ohm
      - PP1V1_SLPS2R 0.776 kOhm
      - PP0V9_SLPDDR 47.2 Ohm
      - PP1V8_SLPS2R 40 kOhm - MOhm .... ?
