(READ DESC) EAS Alerts For An Neighborhood Shooting That Was In Adams County, CO (10/9/24)

This video requires context to what the "shooting"
was and why EAS is related due to the title being
simplelized and summed up.
On the morning of 10/9, shots were being fired
inside of an house located in the Orchard Farms
neighborhood in Thornton and with the police were
called by one of the residents of the development
reporting about it. When police arrived on the
reported scene they tried to make contact with the
person that was inside the house that gun shots
were heard, the gunman came outside with an rifle
and fired at them causing 1 officer to get hit by the
gunfire and another officer getting hit by glass that
was caused by the gunfire. When the police lined up
for this situation, Thornton PD feared about people
getting hurt or anything along the lines of that due
the area this was happing in was an residential and
heavily civilized area, they issued an SPW for it.

the situation as an whole.
