Thank your for the best explaination. The key moment in choosing tense is the correspondence between two periods of time. Other teachers and textbooks never told me about this.
hi teacher Mike, i'm from argentine and i'm continuing to learning english with you i apreciate it so much, tank you very much, i hope some day to have a metting with you,bye bye
Майк, я не слыхал ничего лучше, чем ваши уроки ! Вы тратите так много энергии, сил, чтобы донести до людей прекрасный язык : * берите! Я уже разжевал вам ( никто лучше меня не сделает этого) и проглотить! Но... Но. Надо и вам трудиться ! Так учитесь, лентяи.! ( это я в свой адрес). Спасибо вам!
Thanks Teacher Mike, this helps me due to i was not sure about the uses of these tenses in context like i have to use correctly right now, perfect or past?
Great lesson, teacher, but, I have a doubt, the position of the adverb still in present perfect is before the auxiliary have or in between have and the main verb? → If my grammar is incorrect, please, let me know. Thanks in advance.
Fit time to listening to you the duration is not too long and not too short, i try my best to tenses a bit confusing thought why did you use the word see not The word watch? The word watch it's better i think.😊
teacher mike thank you from you honest try for helping other. exactly I want to lear 12 tence if you have video please sher or sent the linke of those video's
I was surprised that still is used in negative sentences. Question: should we replace it with continued in positive sentence? EX: She continues living in dormitory. I hope she rents an apartment soon.
It generally doesn't make sense to say "I was ___ing many times." We use past continuous to say that one habit or action was continuing non-stop/repeatedly, so adding "many times" is strange.
THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!!
Thank you!
Yes, I think the same way. Mike is the best. 🏆

Thanks Teacher Mike, this helps me due to i was not sure about the uses of these tenses in context like
i have to use correctly right now, perfect or past?
In that case, you could use either one, and they would just be slightly different.
I like your channel 👍🤲🏻💯

Great lesson, teacher, but, I have a doubt, the position of the adverb still in present perfect is before the auxiliary have or in between have and the main verb? → If my grammar is incorrect, please, let me know. Thanks in advance.

I was surprised that still is used in negative sentences. Question: should we replace it with continued in positive sentence? EX: She continues living in dormitory. I hope she rents an apartment soon.
No. Using "continues" there sounds strange.
She still lives in the dormitory.✅
@@TeacherMikeEnglish thank you
Last question: I was watching this movie many times? Why we can’t use past continuous form?
It generally doesn't make sense to say "I was ___ing many times."
We use past continuous to say that one habit or action was continuing non-stop/repeatedly, so adding "many times" is strange.
@@TeacherMikeEnglish thanks. I got it.🙂
Teacher Mike I know to use but I still do not understand them
