Thank you! There are dials on the handwheels of the machine, and you either keep an eye on them or make a mental note of the handle´s clock position(for example, five turns left, stop when handle is at nine o´clock, five turns back, and so on). Some machines have stops or digital readouts, but mine doesn´t.

Yes, I do this by hand, no CNC or such else. It isn´t that complicated. And I usually don´t have plans, maybe a quick sketch like the one in the beginning of the first video, and some sketches in between to lay out critical dimensions. Other than that, it´s straight from the brain to the hands.
