Loved that color scheme! My brother in law had an auto 98TA that was a real nice driver but he always wanted to drive my 6speed when I visited lol the grin on his face told me everything😂
I've seen the same video before..... the manual car has performance heads. Just with the heads upgrade is plentiful. That's why he pulls away so easily. A real race would have them both be stock and we'll get True results. And maybe the manual can pull out the win but it won't be as easy as this video.
I had 245 nitto on the back that came with those rims. I recently put on 285 nittos and we had an impromptu race. The auto won but it was very close. I did not get a chance to record it.

I have an ‘01 WS6 with the automatic. I believe it has a 323 rear end gear. In ‘01 I have read that GM put in the Corvette block , heads , ZO6 cam ,etc. because they had extra parts. I believe that I read this on Edmunds. Whether this is true or not when I stomp the loud pedal into passing gear the car screams and leaps forward in a rush towards 100 mph. The stick WS6 might have a 342 rear end. It might be the video ,but I didn’t hear the screaming exhaust on the automatic car. I live in the big city with bad traffic and a straight stick was out of the question in ‘01 and the traffic is 10 times worse now. 😢 I love my WS6 !

I remember the day you could find 243s everywhere lol but now their all gone into ATKs warehouse for their LS HP series long blocks😂
One guy wasn’t punching it like the other. The autos shift faster then you can a stick. Especially if they are both stock.
Rematch coming. Think I was too occupied with the Go Pro in my hand. :)

I just watched the video again and heard the scream 🎉. 😅
After replacing the 245 tires to 285's on the automatic, the auto won by half a car. AND, the stick is not 100% stock like the auto.

Bought the wheels and the tires were 245's. I bought 285 nittos. 2nd race was a different outcome. Auto took it.
