Possibly. I probably suffer from the College Professor Syndrome, in that I've been doing this so long that I don't understand the missing info that the beginners need. What would a useful tutorial look like for you? What should be presented?
@@garyfriedman2005 for me, I am totally new to this instrument. I use to play the trumpet years ago and now play other random instruments like Guitar, Ukuele, piano etc
I think a clear picture of the notes, what makes certain notes, how to make them the key you need with mouth pressure.
A basic understanding of the instrument abd how to look after it and change the Reed (also which one to get). I think maybe breaking it down in layman's terms and then do play alongs, where it is broken down into intro, outer, verse, chorus etc and then a full play through. I understand what you mean though about just doing something that you've been doing for years 😊🥰 I love this little instrument

The sound falls somewhere between a clarinet and a sax, depending on the space you play it in.

Nicely played.I like the sound of Xaphoon and wish to buy. Should I buy bamboo one or pocket? I have never played any instrument in my life. Also C one or Bb one? Thanks.
We always recommend that people start with the Pocket Sax, and then graduate to the hand-crafted bamboo once they get good. C or Bb depends on which instruments or recordings you're playing with.
