What Id like people to know..as a teenager I worked for an Immigrant Baker...and it is Hard Work..you're on your feet for long hours around hot ovens...rolling out dough..shaping it..making cakes, cookies, pies, bread, strudels to wedding cakes! 🍰 🍪 🍞 keep bringing exceptional stories..what a testament to not only survival..but lived to a ripe old age! Very touching! 💝

I’m always shocked when I meet someone in person or see a video or read a story of someone who’s survived the holocaust it’s a complete miracle and what a blessing that this family is here and so successful I wish I could visit this bakery. The breads and pastries look delicious

If you live anywhere near North Texas, you could meet with a Holocaust survivor herself if you're interested. She's a good friend of my family, and is over 100 years old!

Thanks for another wonder episode. I started watching you years ago on RFDTV; which I no longer get. I smile every time you post a new (or old) episode. The world is in a strange place right now and this episode served to brighten my day as they all do, but to also put our current situation into prospective against a truly horrible time in our history.

Amazing story of perseverance and and blessing. In a society where some despise everything this nation stands for, it is refreshing to hear stories like this that remind you that there is no other nation like we are blesses to live in.

I wanted nothing more than to work for my family's business. Unfortunately the patriarch died before I was born an our well services company went under. The oilfield is hell to work in but if your family's name is on the work trucks its a little easier to swallow.

Its not related but from watching several episodes of tcr, i realized small businesses owned by immigrants are the back bone of the economy. If it is not for the welcoming immigration policies in the past, many of us didn't get a chance to be here. I think of the current situation with the anti immigrant sentiment from some Americans, and it just make me feel sad.
