Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has spoken publicly for the first time since being placed under investigation by the Formula 1 team's parent company following an accusation of inappropriate behaviour.
Horner attended the launch of Red Bull's new car for the 2024 season in an event at their Milton Keynes base on Thursday.
The 50-year-old publicly denied the allegations for the first time. He has previously denied the accusations "entirely".

@@SuperHellhawk I am not saying this to mock you, but it sounds to me as though you are extremely young and have very little to no experience with Fortune 500/100 companies.
You will find that these large corporations send you a new-hire document package that is quite extensive (150-200 pages). For at least the past 20 years the largest companies have dedicated specialized documents within the new hire package to specifically address issues of moral or sexual misconduct. The new hire signs those documents and then becomes legally liable for their own conduct.
I have never seen any of these new hire documents that did not expressly state that sexual misconduct would be met with instant termination.
The seriousness of the claim has NOTHING to do with how the corporation perceives the veracity of the claim. These companies are in fact legally obligated to conduct internal investigations at the corporate level for any claim of this nature. You will find that these companies have embedded those regulatory obligations within their own GSOPs.
Only an imbecile would conduct a local investigation when the perpetrators would potentially have access to, or be in control of the local systems. Global, independent teams are ALWAYS called in for these kinds of investigations. That is absolutely standard in the corporate world.
Other investigations that trigger an instant escalation to Global are racial or gender discrimination cases. All of these escalations are meticulously codified in GSOPs. They have VERY specific decision trees that must be followed according to the category of the claim and these decision trees are built in to the validated digital systems that are used to open the case file. These systems ensure there is an unbroken audit trail with the information being entered and they will AUTOMATICALLY escalate to Global depending on the case codes that are selected when it is first opened.
Since 2007 I have NEVER seen a case like this handled on a local level.
For this type of claim, escalating to Global means nothing. That is as standard as it gets.
Now we will see how much evidence there is to support the claim.

Christian will not give in to this nonsense. I hope everyone is watching closely, this is how a true leader acts. He won’t lower himself to the drama, he won’t indulge the pundits. For very obvious privacy and security reasons. This is very standard in whistle-blowing, regardless of the industry or the accusations. This is not a matter for the courts of public opinion and the accuser has zero obligation to publicly share her side, nor is it particularly helpful to the case for either side. Her accusations will be heard and assessed by the relevant parties, not the general public. Horner on the other hand, as the accused, is a significant public figure so of course he may feel the need to defend himself publicly, as does the organisation have a responsibility to inform its shareholders/stakeholders about its affairs. It's really quite simple.
