For that built, rufus + solar glaive is lethal. You have super energy for rufus, melee buff from syntho & Banner & solar on the glaive, debuff on tracktor ... You drop orbs left and right, have melee constantly, if you us lament charged (buff solar, melee, charge).. Season of the Wish it's absolutely bunker with combine solar/strand mod...
Im hooked now.

Try out banner of war with precious scars, you become nearly invincible with its new rework. Pair it with final warning and walk through anything d2 throws at you.

Exactly what i want
Imo reconstruction makes little sense on any weapon you are using frequently during an encounter, since once the clip is empty, you will end up reloading it and emptying the clip again, keeping reconstruction from kicking in and forcing you to reload again - just like e.g. an autorifle without reconstruction. Depending on the activity, I'd rather go for subsistence (minor ad control) or something giving you a fast reload; Enlightened action might work well on the Abyss Defiant. Autorifles specifically built as major (champion) or boss damage weapons benefit from triple tap, as on these ads critting is easy, so triple tap will effectively increase your clip size by 33%. Rewind rounds also is a nice perk for that application. The only reason I have crafted Abyss Defiant and Rufus' Fury with reconstruction + target lock is when I run out of special and heavy ammo during boss damage phases, giving me an at least somewhat improved damage output with a gun using primary ammo.
Use what you want, it really ain’t that deep.
Could vex caliber work also because u can get an over shield and u would get better melee damage with it
Totally an option to look into for sure 👍 It's just the one-two punch shotgun combo is still very good, plus the bonuses from the Artifact improve upon the build in general!

Do you ever prefer using wormgod over synthoceps?
I will be making a Wormgod setup for Banner of War, but even though it can do more damage then Synthos I just like the passives the Exotic gives. Either one if fine to you imo 👍
way too painful to maintain. super hard to get 3+ stacks when in a fireteam. and not to mention, looks absolutely awful 😂

You don't have to, but it's very good to have for this build

I mean I'd say the only thing they nerfed was Synthoceps. I'd also argue the orb generation nerf is a dumb change that didn't need to happen.

how do you take out barrier champions with this build?
Either use a Sidearm with the artifact perk, become Radiant using Flint Striker or get Unraveling Rounds for Strand weapons from Unraveling Orbs. If you really need something you can use Arbalest or Eriana's Vow Exotics
How does your mark have 5 mod slots?
Artifice Armor from Master Dungeons come with and extra mod slot for a small stat bump

I honestly sway away from artifacts perks. I hate attaching myself to content that will be gone later
I get it, but it’s apart of every live service game and you should take advantage of it as much as you can. Even outside of the subclass perks like From Whence You Came and Solo Operative are must haves

There are a lot of shotguns that can drop with it or you can craft a shotgun with the perks, def gotta grind a little

Isn't using a sword the entire point of banner of war?
The melee does way more damage overall with Tractor Cannon since the sword buff is only 10% vs. the melee which is 40%. Swords can be good for sure depending on the encounter or boss
This build felt incredibly weak on the grand master this week
Then use something else. GM’s are punishing to players who play too aggressively, that’s always been a thing

Mostly to Synthoceps tbh, but they made it seem like it was gonna make it awful. Turns out still the best Build for titans 😂
Calling it nerfs is being melodramatic, some would call it a buff tbh

@@bmoney20608 takes more kills to level up, but you now gain 3-4 seconds to the duration every kill. I’d call it a change rather than a nerf tbh
Don't disagree with you at all. Feels the same to me, but apparently Wormgod Caress is the go to Exotic for this now so we gonna have to do some testing
