As a rugby fan, I loved watching this guy in the world cup. But as an All Black fan I hated watching this guy in the world cup 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Always lovely playing the All blacks, big respect from a Saffa
I bet.. how I used to feel about McCaw
No doubt, he is the kinda player u wanna play with ,not against!
@@adrianleonard6449Bit of a one trick pony
Malmesbury Missile
Wheat bix that’s what they feed them there.😂
The guy is built differently. One in a generation.
PSDT is the perfect combination of peak athleticism and a massively high rugby IQ.
Can't play like that without having both.
My pick for captain.
Is he good at any thing other than tackling?
@@richardgrant418Him being there to make those tackles speaks volumes about his worth rate and commitment
@@richardgrant418yep, lineouts and loads of try assists.
Pieter Steph is a one trick pony
They love ponies in South Africa
@@JaemanEdwards Your team loooost!
Times coming out of the line very well. Loves to track back too. Good mobile 7 work.
PSDT to us - PTSD to those poor souls being tackled😂😂😂😂
Great video - what stands out to me is his speed!! It's hardly fair to have those wheels and that physique too !
Legend has it he was conceived to seek and destroy by Metallica
He is fascinating. A tackle machine.
Pieter Steph Du Toit can cause an earthquake by simply walking
After Jerome Kaino retired from international rugby PSDT completely filled the role of the model blindside flanker. The lungs of a marathon runner who's constantly tackling and hitting rucks. A BF doesn't even need the "highlight ultradominant tackles", it just needs to bring the man down the most efficient way possible and most frequently possible, and PSDT is the best there is in this role
Pieter Steph is poor at the basic loose forward skill of turning over possession.
He also can't run or pass to save himself. Definitely no model loose forward. A model defender is all he is. You Saffas need to slow your roll on the hyperbole.
@@JaemanEdwards Lucky for us you don't have the slightest idea wtf you are talking about and nobody is gonna listen to a nobody.
@@JaemanEdwards I'm not a Saffa neither do I support the Boks. I like France and Italy and Argentina in the RC.
I don't think the BF's role should be turnovers all the time, that is more OF. What I look in a BF is hitting rucks effectively and constant tackles
@@maxcfalcao Turnovers are in fact everybody's job these days. But Pieter Steph would struggle to make an All Blacks team because he can't run and pass great.
Pieter is a true gladiator. Unbelievable work rate. Incredible competitor. Glad he’s on our team.
Pieter steff du toit has truly earned the title of :
"The lawnmower man"
This blond haired beast with the face of an angel and the temper of a timber wolve and meanness of a junk yard dog will cut u down like a lawnmower!
Cant wait for the upcoming test matches
Starring the "lawnmower" man!
Plus malcolm marx back in the fold!
I think the bokke have a bone to pick with ireland after what happened at world cup!
Go my beloved bokke go!
Its biltong time again!
Biltong ,rugby and bier is piere plesier!
That's a dumb name. Sounds comical. He needs something more menacing like the Terminator or something along those lines.
Rugby is not about how hard you hits but rather how you get up and keep going big hits don't affect good players
not quite, if you hit someone hard enough legally it can take them out of play or even cause a knock on which in this case would be massive for the springboks
His work rate is off the charts! He was immense in the WC final last year and also the WC final in 2019. One of the players that made us win both those world cups! 🎉
PSTD tackles the kak uit hulle !!!
Tackling as we were taught in school. Why doesn't everybody do this? It works!!!
He gives all his opponents PTSD
I've walked past this guy in real life. He's huge.
Imagine getting tackled by him. Must be even bigger
Perfect example.of tackle technique with intense power. Anyone who wants to complain that the newer laws prevent hard, physical tackling should watch this man and watch their argument fall apart.
His work rate is immense!
He fails at the core loose forward role of turning over possession
@@JaemanEdwards that’s why you have three loose forwards, they all have different roles. Would you fail to pick him because he doesn’t turnover possession?
@@Ash0010 Depending on who's in line for selection I probably wouldn't pick him on tackling alone. Apart from not being good at fetching, his running and passing skills are substandard.
Malmesbury missile!!
Remember Pieter Steph is a typica tough, rough South African farmboy. His training comes from there. Its a hard life and a healthy life. He is a sweet boy❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My mans quite good at it
4:15 I almost forgot about the biased commentary during the Lions test series over the years
bro if u can make a compilation of jordie barrett getting massive hits would be great. that guy is relentless even after getting massive hit
That thumbnail though😂🎯
Question is ... will you remember getting tacked by him?
Barrett certainly will after that final😂
Go ask Jordie that question.
I think you wake up and realise you got hit
He's very good.
*remembers semi-final against England.
Frustratingly good. 😂
I love your videos
The human combo-breaker.
Great tackler and great player, but how is that tackle on Moriarty at 6:07 not a pen
...and a yellow.
Because it's is the past and too late now.
😁
PSDT causing PTSD
0:14 knee on the floor, blatant penalty
Blatant tears
@@pauljansen6650 📽
think my dream back three would be 6: PSTD 7: McCaw 8: Parisse
Room for Dusatoir??
@@jaggerg6744 good shout and maybe. on his day best player ever, but had some off days
@@jaggerg6744Yes
@@CG-or1reTerrible selections. I wouldn't have either three of them.
28 tackles in a WC final.
He causes people PTSD
Peter Steph also doesn't get a lot of cards
Let's called him "Pieter the Proctologist" as his always handing player's asses to them 😅
PSDT is a proper flanker , no funny business just honest hard rugby .
Average at the core loosie role of turning over possession
@@JaemanEdwards each team has its own dynamics, in his case he doesn’t have to Marx , Fourie , Vermeulen , Smith , Mostert are all fetchers and jackal
@@cjels5400 So not a proper flanker then. Got it.
@@JaemanEdwards Did you watch the world cup final 2023 ?
@@JaemanEdwards did you watch the rugby world cup final?
I don't know why Jordy Barrett doesn't just apologise to PSDT. Judging by the constant tackles, he clearly said something about his mom.
His technique is somewhat awkward at times, and there is some inconsistency. When he commits with his shoulder, he's brutal, but the upright tackles are a bit iffy. His work rate and ability to disrupt play is phenomenal, though.
Mate. He's a skyscraper. It's incredible that he can get low to tackle in the first place
They're very rarely iffy. His technique is incredible and it's clear from the number of tackles he makes and the very few cards he's gotten.
Srong guy
Definitely the best tackler
Not much of anything else tho
agree, he's not much of a threat with the ball in his hands besides crashing into defenders. Suits the SA's game though but nowhere near the best flankers from the ABs and France on that aspect.
@@romainviry3185 Yeah solid hit ups but thats it. He's not even good at turning over possession, the key loosie role.
@@JaemanEdwards his hard hitting tackles convert into turnovers. Go and ask Jodie about it
@@alpozongo1485 Once in a blue moon. Can't run or pass to save himself.
@@JaemanEdwards clearly you have not watched him play🤌🏿
i love your videoss firstt
Tackles made and 4 fouls
PTSD is an absolute machine. But he isn't the best tackler in World Rugby, Sam Underhill is.
Half of these are late tackles or high tackles...
He was great but jodie and talea were playing the best footy there is esp jodie
I am number T-800, Sarah Connor come with me
What do you mean?. South Africa got away with so many cheap shots during RWC, honestly, cannot stand em now. They know exactly what I mean by the RWC and the prior game to RWC, the amount of against rugby law tackles and such in that game was pitiful. SA, you were helped to the RWC win, and you know it. You know exactly where I mean too, if you had any respect you would admit it.
😢
sam underhill is a better tackler
Barret stands back up, no damage.
made of two things - brick and mortar
