    I like the deeper level of commentary you have in your vids compared to most others who are camping which just tend to be fluffy and not full of real substance. I actually learned something today.

      Thank you - you don't even know how happy your comment has made me. I travel mostly to experience different cultures and see how people live in different parts of the world. And in result I end up with many observations and thoughts, so it makes me happy that somebody finds them interesting :)

    Your Video was recommended to me, glad I clicked on it. Super pleased to hear you enjoyed the country I live in. I grew up in a town on the Alaska Highway and recognize many of the places you pictured. I think that people have a live and let live attitude here, if you want to go about your day in peace and quiet you can, but if you want to meet someone and visit we are very friendly. We generally don't want to bother anyone. That is probably why you would see everyone's name on the reservations. Because people will respect your privacy and just let you go about your day/travels. Super cool car as well, I have the exact same one, red as well, except mine is 2006 model. Enjoy your trip! Hope you are ahead of the snow!

      So glad the YT algorithm decided to show you my video! And thank you for explaining how and why Canadians behave the way they behave. It was so much quieter and more peaceful on Canadian campsites compared to the US.
      oh, and you have a good taste in cars! ;)

    Hello Asha. As a Canadian, I am delighted that you enjoyed your visit and felt safe here. The west, with its wild mountain grandeur is truly magnificent. The east coast has its own unique beauty and the people are wonderfully warm and hospitable. Northern Ontario and Quebec offer vast wilderness areas to explore (check out Algonquin Park). Should you what some input for a future visit let me know. Very happy that Subie is repaired and going strong.

    I love my country and could easily travel across it and never be bored. The outdoors are where I spend a lot of my time, for all the reasons you talked about. You will find there are a lot a various types of Canadians, NewFoundlanders amazing to me, so friendly. It's not that we don't want to talk, we are just being polite and giving you some personal space. It is a very common misunderstanding. But take my word for it, if you meet someone from Newfoundland or Nova Scotia. Sit down and enjoy the ride.👋😁🇨🇦 New Sub

      Thanks for this explanation - I got a sense that it's more about being polite than unfriendly, glad you confirmed it. And I would absolutely love to see Newfoundland and Nova Scotia one day. Happy and safe travels to you!

    Asia, you are a wonderful ambassador for Canada. As a Polish Canadian who has travelled and spent a fair amount of time in the U.S., I must say that I am a proud Canadian. Canadians are not stand-off-ish but we are, on the whole not as, shall we say boisterous as Americans. I’m glad you felt safe in Canada but we are not without fault so you still need to be aware. I always look forward to your videos so till next time…🇨🇦🇵🇱

    These were interesting observations. Canada does seem to want to make amends for the way First Nations people have been treated, while in the U.S. (I'm American), a great many would rather not talk or even think about how native populations were decimated and their land taken after the arrival of European settlers. They would rather their children be taught "patriotic history," in which America never does anything to be ashamed of, including slavery. I'm glad you are enjoying your adventure and wish you safe and happy travels (I'm impressed by your fluency in English).

    Those Subaru Foresters SG 2nd Generation 2004 - 2008 are one of the best you can have. Regular servicing at least once a year whether it needs it or not will ensure you have that car for many years. Main repair items will be Timing belt and water pump after 100k. 10/10 car.

    Hi Asha, thanks for a great vlog! What you've seen of Canada is just a very small slice of what's out there. Suggest reading Adam Shoalts A History of Canada in 10 Maps and retracing the adventures in that book including visiting Tuktoyuktuk, and Alert, Ellesmere Island, Nunuvut, Canada or other Parks Canada Sites to be truly amazed. P.S. Us Canadian military Veterans have free admission to all Parks Canada Sites.

    Hello Asha, thank you for your video. I understand safety concerns prevent you from discussing dates, however, at some point when you are done with Alaska, can you talk about travel days, something like by month, months that you should absolutely avoid, months that you may encounter too much rain, or mosquito or traffic, or wildlife ...etc . etc . To me, that would be very helpful, assuming you experience has exposed you to that level of detailed knowledge./ Safe travels! For example, I did not know into September, gas stations close in Alaska highway...Actually you shared that which was very helpful.

    There's firearms in Canada, but their are more laws than the States in containing one, you need to take an exam on using, storing and transporting them safely. Plus you need a physch evaluation to make sure you are not to endanger others.

    • @ashaslaw
      @ashaslaw  หลายเดือนก่อน

      What I meant by saying "no firearms in Canada" is that they are not as accessible as in the US. But thank you for explaining how it exactly works in Canada - the laws seem to be similar to the ones in Poland, where you have to also obtain the permit and go through psych evaluation every year or two.

    Asha I just saw a post on your Instagram I don't use anymore because their were hackers on my Instagram that stole bank card information I thought it was interesting that you said you travel in your OLD subaru forester I was just looking at your vlog backing it out of your storage unit it looks beautiful brand new I know it isn't brand new but it looks like it and I just thought it was odd that you call it old (how was the bear jerky)
