I know it's going to be a good video when it starts off with Vinny rage
Vinny was having some major technical difficulties with trying to get Far Cry 4 to work with his graphics card and found out that Xsplit was screwing up for him in a previous 15-20 minute session. I omitted this since it was literally a black screen with Vinny talking sporadically and getting increasingly frustrated as the game would keep crashing over and over hence the "FUCK" at the beginning of the video when the game crashes just one more time.
Did vinny quack durning that time?

***** That's because this is essentially Jason. They were really lazy in making this character. I know that the voice actor is different, and they went a different backstory with the character Ajay, but he's essentially Jason.
Makes the same remarks, grunts, he's young, and even has that whole 'Fish out of water' unlikely hero Die-Hard thing going on.
***** I haven't played 3 in a while, but my girlfriend just got me 4 for my birthday. Is it just me, or does Ajay sound a hell of a lot LIKE Jason? I honestly feel like I'm playing as Jason, and not Ajay at all.
ᅚᅚ No, It's not you. They sound identical to me as well. That's what I was saying in my comment. It doesn't even feel like they tried making a new character. As far as I'm concerned, Ajay and Jason are the same fucking person.

Just imagine this: Some idiot slams into your truck, backs away, then drives up a hill and does a half spin as he jumps down right on top of your truck before leaving.
I really hope the next Far Cry game has a protagonist with actual survival experience so we don't have to constantly hear them groaning in disgust when skinning an animal. It really gets grating when you're gathering skins to upgrade.
EDIT: Also, I just want to point out that neither Jason or Ajay seem to have any verbal reaction to gunning down and fatally stabbing hundreds of dictator cronies/pirates, but the one moment they dig into a pig or something, they're instantly all "EWWWWWW". Kinda weird.

I think they groan in disgust when they skin an animal because they're taking out their guts with their bare hands.
When they stab and kill humans, that's pretty much it, which is prolly why they don't groan.

Not sure if this comment will be well received or not, but am I the only who gets annoyed as shit by the writing of the Far Cry games? It all seems to come off as very arrogant and pretentious, as if the writers think they're writing something amazing, but in practice they often seem to leave you with unanswered questions, unsympathetic and essentially blank characters you struggle to relate to, and more cliches or redone elements than you can shake a stick at. It just kind of amazes me cause I always watch or play the game and get the impression these guys think this is some Grade A writing, but in practice I'm always left thinking "dude half of this doesn't even make sense to me."

It's funny cause I read that same interview and that's part of the reason I refer to it as pretentious writing: as I recall, that interview where he explained things partially took place because the story of 3 was not well received, and he began trying to explain all the elements like one would to a child. In the end a lot of his explanations were rather disjointed, and overwell my attitude is that you can have the best story idea in the world, but if you convey it terribly, then it's still not a good story. Far Cry fails to make the satire element apparent, it fails to make you sympathize with ANY characters, and has it's own exclusive tropes, such as the sadistic/insane antagonist.And like I said, for me it often feels like they simply DO NOT explain a lot of stuff and just expect you to "get it," and if you didn't get it "well then obviously it's just too deep/artistic for you." That's the sorta pretentious vibe I get from the writing, cause it never seems to try and explain itself and the few interviews we have with the writers show them more critical of the audience not getting it than of their own work.

This could also explain the presence of the M1932 Mauser pistol an also an MG34 in the game, but not the MG42 (which was the one the developers actually used, wasn't it?)...

Playing through this game atm, I like it a bit better over fc3 but the frame rate problems are a bit annoying but its way better than AC Unity that's for sure and so fun.

Since he streams these, I'd say it's so that he can play the game but also keep track of the chat. At least that's what I do when I stream. I go up a little higher than 1280x720, but I dunno what resolution Vinny has, either way he has good reason for it.
FRAMERATE is also much better.

The game uses Nvidia as default, why didn't the implement it with PhysX, that would make things stop acting realistictly and going inside of walls...
And in a 1 minute search, Nvidia site has comparisions, Godrays is what makes that moody color, NVIDIA Godrays are more yellow, FarCry4 Godrays are that moody one, and Off, is the Fullbright ones.
And game devs, should learn, why make games designed for the overly garbage Consoles, when the main public is on PC? Sure they port it, but it always suck when it get's ported, why not make it for the Master PC, and then port it for the lessers?
How many FPS does this run at?
I believe it's capped at 60 on PC, it runs 30 on last gen consoles and probably 30 on next gen as well
