- The Specter Family from The Sims 2 is probably the scariest, creepiest, most disturbing family in the entire game. So.... I remade them in create-a-sim and as a speed build!

The reason why people think Grim is the father of Nervous is because in Olive's memories we can see that they woohooed and after that she gave birth
Sims 3 also confirmed Grim is Nervous' dad too.

Also: If you use cheats to have the Grim Reaper's baby with one of your own Sims, it sometimes comes out with weird facial structure like how Nervous Subject has.
The "Olive kept killing people so she could see Grim because she's in love with him" thing is also similar to the ORIGINAL story with Thanos, who was in love with (female) Death and wanted to murder half the universe _to impress her_...NOT! to make balance and give the remaining half of all life enough food!
Olive awakened my love for the elderly (not in THAT way) .. just because they're interesting *when they get a backstory*

Olive has the best back story of all the sims in my opinion like the sims 4 with Vivian Lewis and Denis Kim can't even compare their back story is just "Denis is Alice's divorced and widowered father and Vivian is Eric's widowed mom" I usually spice up their story by making them flirty a bit with each other .... At least the Villareals have some spooky theory of what happened to their mom I wish Ea had made said mom and made her ghost because we all know she died somehow
I want to respectfully add that Olive's PARENTS are also buried in her Garden

You forgot to add that one of the families in Strangetown, the Grunt family, has a slight connection too. So since I love ST I'll add one cent:
Buzz Grunt's wife divorced him, and mysteriously disappeared from that family life. None of them, not the (ex) husband or the 3 sons, knows what happened to her: SHE DIED, and NO ONE had a memory of it.
Why do we know she died? Because HER GRAVE is in Specter's graveyard! And not only that, but Buzz is having some suspicions, since he is not in good terms with "Old Lady", but OLD LADY, even if they are not friendly, wants to invite him! And strangely enough, even tho it shouldn't happen, IT IS SCRIPTED that if you invite him, he WILL show up, even if "kinda enemies", suggesting she wants to oof Buzz, too
Sims 2 is not just a game, it is a fecking masterpiece.

@@lovelyicetree8971 I kinda feel that, but also I feel like that makes the game more fun. Like my first ever family in the sims 3 I didn't know about cheats and tried to build a cool house. Only I didn't think about lights until the very end and I could only afford a single lamp. The next day a burglar came and stole my only light source.

It’s such a struggle in finding the depression meds that work for you. Took me years to find the right combo, and just recently I had to change it up because a different medication will help my nerve disorder. Electrical nerves not anxiety nerves.

I’m still pretty early and I love the Specter family. Yeah I always thought Olive kept killing people so that she could see the grim reaper again. Also probably TMI but we’re synced lol. My ovaries are also punishing me.
I tried playing Ophelia and Johnny in the Spector house after Olive died. The ghosts kept waking up my children and scaring them so they peed themselves. This resulted in puddles all over the house as well as poor grades.
I just love how while she's screaming at us she also takes the time to teach us about the periodic table and the difference between mass and weight
the whole fall in love w/ grimm reaper happened to me w/ my sim. I had the mods and she saw the grim reaper and fell in love, then continued to kill passerbys, to continue seeing him😩🥴. He notified me (after her 5th kill) to "stopping taking my job"💀.
Re: Nervous, it goes back to the Memories system of Sims 2, the only Sim Ophelia had a memory of woohooing was the Grim Reaper, then shortly after that in her memories there's the "had Nervous" "Child taken by the Social Worker" etc series of memories. Also Sim 2 Nervous was a genetic replica of the Grim Reaper so there's that too.

Why were the ottomas family scary? I found them stressful af but not scary?
Because of the neighbourhood corruption bug that could happen with them?
Their children were hell-spawns (really any of them but especially the twins that are born if you play them in my experience), and Peter Ottomas makes the ugliest babies no matter who the mom is. Not to mention Dora Ottomas is always showing up at my sims houses and causing havoc, I swear that family is cursed. The only one I never had any problems with was Samantha.
This is my favourite Sims 2 in Sims 4 reinvention, remake, thing whatever so far.
I love how the sims actually follows a plot even with characters that are only in the library when you first start the game
How funny would it be if the niece met the Grimm Reaper when Olive died and the niece fell in love too and also became a killer- 💀

Idk why but i feel like the dislike thing was a hidden part of sims 3. I have a sims household with 2 sims that are made for each other but my female sim just straight up hates her partner. But i made them with compatible traits. Yet she likes a random townie who is her polar opposite. And they complain about certain foods. Or its just my sims. But trying to make a cute family is difficult if one sim doesn't like their partner. I'm salty now

Eat peanuts if you're not allergic. They're also super rich in iron. I, someone who gets periods, can confrim that they do help alot and instantly.

I think the devs wanted Olive to represent the type of player that loves getting random sims from the street and killing them. Drown them, starve them, light them on fire, and then make a creepy cemetery in your yard.

I played with that family. Everyday the ghosts haunted the objects in the house, broke them and scared both women in their sleep. It was chaotic everyday, up to the day the grandma died.
I knew her son was in another lot, but I still felt incredibly offended when the guy inherited ALL of the grannies money, the tormened teen granddaughter was sent to the townies box with not a cent and the game kicked me out of the house because the lot was empty >:( that's my gameplay memory of this family

I just started a Strangetown rotational play for the first time (when I was younger I usually played with the Riverblossom or Bluewater neighborhoods), and when I got to the Specter family and Olive retired from the Slacker career, I gave her a job in the Paranormal career so she could be a Cult Leader, and I love it for her so much that I never want her to die lol.
