I put this all directly on Taylor. The guy managed to start (and not finish) several shows. Dude - just write 2 at a time. Instead, we all were sucked into several shows that he either never intended to finish or was so over his head, he couldn't. I won't watch another Taylor Sheridan project. Taylor sold Yellowstone and because of the success of the first season him and paramount agreed to do not only more Yellowstone, but more westerns. So Taylor delivered. Then Costner see's how well things are going and since he can't play in any of Taloy's other work he decides to create his own. And thats great. But when Taylor gets more project signed off and starts in on all that things change. Costner has been where for the last 10 years prior to Yellowstone? Taylor has done a ton of good movies and now TV. They both have reasons to pursue their own projects and lets not forget, season 1 was written with John dying in season 2. Remember his cancer?? The only reason that whole story line went away was because Taylor didnt think Kevin would do a season 2. So he wrote it in as a easy way out should the series move on without Kevin.
If he had to work to pay bills and put food on the table she wouldn’t be complaining he was at work. Some have more money than they will ever need and others never have enough n surviving dah to day.

Kevin Costner’s name is the first name that appears in the credits. How can you remove the name and take away the character without destroying the show? Perhaps it would be better to just sign everyone up for a seven-year show. Ironclad, locked in contracts for all actors. And then after seven years, you end the program, unless they all agree to extend the program.
Nobody would sign anybody for 7 years. Most shows go under the first year. Kevin has too much money invested in is own show Horizon to stay with Yellowstone which is so past due on finishing the last season. Sheridan was using Yellowstone to advertise his new show 6666. We all know that the ending in Yellowstone is that the ranch goes back to the Indians after seven generations, Johns Grandson is Indian and he is seventh generation so he will inherit the ranch and we all live happily ever after or here comes Yellowstone 2.
It's fiction - don't get too invested. The journey, not the destination. Many shows are enjoyable and worth watching with only 1-2 seasons even when third is bad or cancelled. The new Horizon series he's working on looks way more western and thrilling than Yellowstone so don't worry.

Kevin’s Horizon needs to be extraordinarily epic to draw Kevin Costner fans that have come to settle in to him being the Dutton’s lead. Nothing else will do other than submerging these fans in The best writing and acting the planet has ever seen for westerns as in Yellowstone, and Tombstone. That being said,the first episode of Horizon will be a bang or a bust.

The first 2 seasons were good original screen play by Sheridan then it got commercialized and written by ghost writers and Sheridan got distracted by his other projects and spinoffs.

Kevin’s Horizon needs to be extraordinarily epic to draw Kevin Costner fans that have come to settle in to him being the Dutton’s lead. Nothing else will do other than submerging these fans in The best writing and acting the planet has ever seen for westerns as in Yellowstone, and Tombstone. That being said,the first episode of Horizon will be a bang or a bust.
