It is not a Nazi pottery, it's mythological symbol of the Hindus, it is used to light a DIYA which is used at the time of worshipping.
The way the swastika looks I am almost positive that it has to do with the Nazis. And you are right, but it looked different for the other cultures who used it.

@@dylanfisher3156 Every year during Diwali time where I live, when you go into certain shops, you'll find hundreds of clay lamps that look exactly like that, only they're painted brightly and colourfully, which was probably what this one looked like but the water eroded the paint away.

Sack Jack the nazi symbol is the swatika which was pretty much stolen from Hindu/Buddhist culture/religion and actually means well being and good luck. Based on how it looks and where it was found it’s really unlikely to be a nazi symbol. The guy in the video isn’t that well versed in history which is fine.

Yep. In 1994 a couple of guys found an astrolabe (dated 1575) in a coastal lagoon just a mile down my place. There was also a boat and several pieces of pottery /dated 15th century) found near that same place. Every time I go by that area I think about what else is down there. :)

Some places have pretty hard rules and laws surrounding treasure hunting, in Sweden you can't use metal detectors or anything without a license which you won't get.

The nazi pottery might not be what you think theres a symbol that looks like a swastika but it means peace.
It is the same symbol, only different meaning in different places. In india it is a symbol of divinity and spiruality. In the west it is the symbol for auspiciousness and good luck.

im so proud of everything that you do for the chattahoochee and every other body of water you touch. I live pretty much at the headwaters of the hooch and every time I go, I try my best to pick up trash to keep our river clean, but you've inspired me to do even more.
The bowl is possibly not German. Similar bowls exists in Indian culture and other cultures. They used the swastika before the Germans gold a hold of it and made it into what it means now. To them the sign had a totally different meaning

A true legend
that swastika pottery looks to be a decorative item from a Buddhist Temple. The Swastika is used alot in Budism
It is derived in budhism from sanatana dharma.
And it's also used in Hinduism, and Japan and China even have their own versions of it
You guys have such an advantage of having all worlds underwater and on land you get to experience so much that must have been just mind blowing when you were surrounded with the fish like that

That symbol was actually originally a Buddhist symbol for power but was used by the nazi, so I believe it might be Buddhist.
it doesn't look older than 1920 (when the Nazi party was founded).
Seeps swastika is still used by the Hindu/Buddhist people as a symbol of peace, nazi only used it for a brief time but it became very prominent (obviously) but that’s not the what it stands for
