I forgot to mention each Mode can store 1 preset, you hold both footswitches to save, Hold left foot switch and press Right switch to change modes (it will load the saved preset for that mode). Sorry for the wobbly table, will have to reinforce it I think.
Like a breath of cool fresh air...the perfect demo. Thank you so much for the time and effort...gave me all the info I needed to make a choice on this one :)
@@avrilcadabra I was going to say that but I didnt want Nintendo’s lawyers to come after you, haha. I can’t separate the soundtracks from link yelling .
Raindrops is falling on my dreadbox, at a dead stop, sped past saw my head drop, waiting for the next lot, unpick the deadlock, you been fed or not? Entertain the plot, let the rain pop, I'm at pains top, paint the train hot, tainted stranger straying off.... gah the beat changed ha, the first bit is heavy!!!
@@avrilcadabra You have made a good choice.. there Raindrops is one of the most luscious sounding stereo reverb/delay pedals out there..ps;I have the Darkness reverb pedal also and it's stereo also..It's amazing,The reverb can be shaped a lot and it has this wonderful plate like metallic reverb character different from the Raindrops reverb mode..
Sounds friggin glorious Avril! An awesome demo and guide you put together here too, really digging this pedal and had no clue of it's existence until coming across your video! Thanks for making this and yes.... just like everyone needs a 303, everyone also needs a delay pedal! imo at least lol 😁🐀
:o really sounds like raindrops- and it´s really working miracles with the drums-awesome stuff i embarked on a jouney to get a m8 soon, if the gods are willing (i needed to tell you) thanks for it, the new video, love to hear from you :)
Sounds fantastic. I'm bothered by stuff not sitting flat too. Have you considered getting a Zoia? I'm sure you would fine some amazing things to do with one.
Thanks. I would like a zoia. Been researching them a bit lately. Bit confused as to euroburo or standard one. They look like something I'd have a lot of fun with.
@@avrilcadabra I got the original, used, which is much cheaper than the euroburo (which are harder to find used). I guess the euroburo might be worth it if you have some other modular stuff. But the original is already very capable, its pretty mindblowing.
There is no secondary function on the feedback knob in Reverb mode...but you can still use the primary feedback to manipulate the reverb..if you crank up the feedback just before it causes self oscillation it increases the reverb decay/tail substantially up to 30 second's I found..

Thanks for the nice comment, appreciate it.
The sound of the casio in reverb mode really did something to my imagination. Entered some kind of celtic mythological landscape, haha. Great video !
Bit of a zelda vibe in the casio ones. I assume everyone listens to zelda soundtracks but just in case :)

Just found your channel and it’s already one of my fav synth related places 😮
Thanks for dropping in. Appreciate hearing that

Yh that intro is heavy asF needs vocals and a heavy drop! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Haha just clicked. Your new name threw me. I guess I shouldn't expect anyone else to be spitting rhymes over old consoles. Hope you are well.
I really love the design of the Dreadbox pedals. They look great.
yeah I really like it, my first dreadbox thing. Shame all their pedals are not stereo like this one.

@@avrilcadabra oh... i hope it´s good news...i have it not yet🤔
@@avrilcadabra at the moment it looks like the m8 costs 150 more aaand it is sold out...oh boy
Gorgeous sounds!

What happens if you crank up the feedback in reverb mode? some kind of larsen?
Nothing fun at all happens "NOTE: On the reverb's algorithm, this control is deactivated"
@@avrilcadabra well, that's unfortunate.

Its making me nauseous.
aww sorry!
