The throat singing is fantastic, the traditional instruments are awesome, esp the mongolian axe guitar and the horsehead fiddle, the music is epic, love the blend of ancient and modern symbolism!
I'came across the HU band years ago and love them. They use Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), Tovshuur (three-stringed lute), Tsuur (Mongolian flute) and Tumur Khuur (Jew's harp)..The HU - Yuve Yuve Yu [LIVE @ SiriusXM Studios] with Danny Case from Ashes to New, is another one I like, and The Hu - Shireg Shireg [LIVE @ SiriusXM] I love that you can hear horses and eagles in their playing. One of the best comments I read in some other reaction to this song: "Played this loud as hell.....now my house is on fire, horses are stampeding through my back yard, my Chinese neighbor is building a wall and all the women in the street are pregnant! "

Here’s some stuff I read. Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country. 30% of the people are nomadic. They have never been conquered. Genghis Kahn and company took over more territory than anyone ever. They were bloodthirsty killers but brought relative peace to a savage world. If you joined them their reputation protected you regardless of your religion, race, beliefs, etc. If not, you died. One of the bikers was the president of Mongolia.
