  • Ad breaks during an episode of KaBlam, The Short Films by Short People Film Festival, Rugrats, Aaahh! Real Monsters and Rocko's Modern Life. Most, if not all of these appear to be from December 1997, perhaps a little earlier than that. Lots of great promos, commercials and bumpers!

    I have the Anastasia movie on VHS. My 3rd grade class in DC took a trip to watch the movie in theaters. I convinced my parents to buy the movie and still have it.

    These Nickelodeon bumpers remained the same, as Nickelodeon's sister network TV LAND debuted new CGI bumpers, promos, coming up next, and on schedule graphics during December to replace those which were aired in the launch of Nick at Nite's TV LAND from April 28, 1996 and were continued to November 30, 1997, when Nick at Nite's prefix above TV LAND was dropped to avert confusion. And this brings back so many memories.

      @@javianwilliams7463 Well I was only 4 in 1997 but I remember getting my Nintendo 64 that year and borrowing games from friends. I also remember believing in illogical things I saw on tv more easily. I remember watching Life with Loopy and loving the episode when she fell through the couch. My friends and me would always dance and mimic the Kablam intro and even trying to fall through my grandmas couch. I also had a really fun Halloween party at my house that year, I was Bugs Bunny and the party went on all night. I also always hid behide a pillow or friend when X-files or Are you afraid of the Dark came on.

    There is this one SNICK Commercial Bumper featuring Kenan and Kel, All That, Shelby Woo and Alex Mack. It felt like a fight promo. I have been looking for it for a long time.

    This appears to be a compilation of recordings from various dates, doesn't it? Either way, these are some great finds.

      Oh yeah, I couldn’t pin down a specific date on the whole tape, other than at the very end of the clip thanks to the Nick Days spot. Aside from that, who knows. This tape was definitely the result of not having new tapes on hand, so that meant a lot of shows got recorded over.

      @@thevhsquest4777 Also, pardon if I've asked you this before, but I'm wondering if you have any recordings of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss on Nickelodeon from 1996-1997. I don't think I've seen a lot of recordings of that show from said time period before.

    • @thevhsquest4777
      @thevhsquest4777  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      No problem! I don’t have any recordings of the Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, it was never a priority of mine to record back in the day. Kind of like a lot of Nick Jr. programming, back then those were shows I’d just watch if I were sick or had a snow day.

      @@thevhsquest4777 I see.
      And for your information, the show did air on regular Nickelodeon on Sunday nights in primetime for the first season from 1996-1997. And I have a good feeling it might've aired on Saturday mornings at 7:00 AM on regular Nickelodeon for the 1997-1998 season.

    I believe the bumper combo at 6:48 and 8:48 has a rare piece of music, what’s it’s name?
