Bushcraft Shelter - Bird Table Build

A project I had wanted to do for a long time was build a bird table close to the bushcraft shelter so I could do some photography so in this video I make the bird table out of materials found in the woods.

Great little vid Mac. You could also make a hanging version of the bird table by putting cordage in the 'roof' holes with the pegs

Another great film William, love to see you working with traditional tools to make the table. I found this a really relaxing watch while eating my lunch and was thinking some 15 minute shorts on the camp would make a great lunchtime watch, maybe with some of the bird life. Fingers crossed they appear! I didn’t think the film was affected much by the weather. All came across really clearly. Brilliant result with the bird table. Fab

Yes I will be in the next few weeks. I'm going for potatoes and carrots again as well as garlic spinnach and spring onions. I have chanterelle mushrooms growing in the woodland as well as other wild edibles so it should be a good harvest later in the year 🙏

On your 3 piece carving rack add a brace at the far end to stop it from moving while you work on new materials ...Not a complaint just a suggestion...

Just a little warning Mac about a bad mistake that I made once , don't ever feed raw rice to birds , very deadly to them...
