Solo Wild Camp Under a DD 3x3 Tarp

This was my first time trying out this type of tarp configuration and thankfully it gave me plenty of coverage to protect me from the rain.
I also do some repairs to the Bushcraft Kitchen and sawing horse on this trip due to the kitchen collapsing.

Your tarp looked so cosy against the wind and rain. So sorry to see the damage to the kitchen but will be excited to see the rebuild. I was very jealous of your steak and mash 😋

It was a great set up that I had never done before. The kitchen is a shame but it will mean I can get the tools out and design a better one that won't fall over. 🙏

@Andshesawandering it was such a simple set up and kept my dry all night. The kitchen is going to be really exciting to rebuild and I might do it over three days to make sure it's a solid structure 🏕

Enjoyable video as always. Could a large mammal have rubbed against kitchen and caused it to collapse? I was originally going to suggest vandalism, but I think if that had been the case the rest of the camp would have been affected. Looking forward to the rebuild!

I think that someone leant on it as there are foot prints around the kitchen area that aren't mine but I don't think it was deliberate. I'm really excited about building the new one as it's going to test all my skills to get it the way I want. These things happen and the main thing is nobody was hurt 🙏
