Stylish resort Meloneras is known for its working 1890s lighthouse, the Faro de Maspalomas, a popular spot for sunset viewing and starting point for headland walks. Nearby are perfume, jewellery, and clothing stores, plus the Moonlight Cinema for outdoor film screenings. Lively beach bars and grill restaurants line the Paseo de las Meloneras waterfront. Sailing excursions depart from Puerto Deportivo.
It’s a lovely walk from Playa del Ingles to Meloneras, if you want beaches - there's a nudist beach and also around the dunes there's a gay beach, not far from the nudist beach but are around the middle of the walk from Meloneras to Maspalomas. Overall - a very fun walk and it's free! It's challenging but the views are lovely.
Maspalomas is a resort town in the south of Gran Canaria, in Spain’s Canary Islands. It’s known for its vast expanse of coastal dunes. These encompass the Maspalomas Dunes nature reserve. It contains several ecosystems, including the La Charca Lagoon, palm groves and the dunes, rich in birdlife like plovers, snipes and herons. The tall, slender Maspalomas Lighthouse has been operating since the late 19th century.

Las Palmas, the main city of Gran Canaria is also super cool to visit. Makes the trip more complete since it's different all together from the South. Also check out Firgas next time you're there
Hi you've got a bangin tan, great to see Melonares I always eat at El Senador on the walkway overlooking the ocean highly recommend it. Love the Charca area too. I found it a video of my personal favourite place ! Thanks I actually saw the baobab hotel finishing being built on my first trip to that area 2910/11 fell in love it was me so soon as had our son it was a lot less expensive then . Stay just about 15 mins away now but cheaper hotels love playa Del ingles but love we even got engaged at the cafe Del Paris 💚 .
Great vlog mate,stayed in H10 Meloneras about 18 months ago, fantastic. Did try the Indian restaurant,found it expensive,probably due to the location, but wasn't the best I've had tbh.
After seeing your first vlog from Gran Canaria I didn’t feel like it would be the place for me, but after watching further vlogs it’s grown on me. Having only been to Tenerife so far I’m not really in a position to make judgement, but what’s come across is that both Tenerife and Gran Canaria have their own appeal and it depends what you want from a holiday. If you want great beaches and a more laid back vibe then Gran Canaria looks hard to beat. Loved the music to go with the sunset by the way 👍
