I put the date on my products when they’re delivered, and I also put the date that I opened them. That way if it takes a long time for me to get around to using a product, I know how long I’ve had it. And when I open them, I know how long it’s been since I opened it.
That's smart. Someone else said they did that too, I just never remember to do it. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention, though.

I used african pride pre poo last Sunday and Lord when I tell you the comb glided through my hair it glided instant staple
As far as the aloe Vera feel prepoos, I only use Pattern Nectar, and Nature’s Little Secret Fenugreek Prepoo. I’m cautious about ingredients in everything, but I used to use them when I first went natural.

You know I love some Just For Me. I feel like the moisture holds up a little better in the shower before washing. It sounds like the trip was fun! I am cracking up at y'all jumping the fence!!
The trip was fun and you have no idea how funny it was to see us jumping the baricade...twice! I was hilarious! I didn't feel much difference between the two prepoos, honestly, even after rinsing. Thanks for tuning in.

I’m with you on the bond repairing treatments. We tend to jump on different bandwagons when it’s not necessary for our hair.
This videeo is great! I don't how I missed this one. But, currently I'm using the NLS detangler and I like it a lot. I used up the AP before NLS, both feel really good and works well. I've never heard of the JFM before. I will have to look into that after I run out of NLS. I really like your take on not trying the Fenty. For me, the prices are ridiculous and above my purchasing rate. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Rhi Rhi, her lipsticks and glosses are my favorite. But I am very particular about using different hair products on my hair. I will watch a review from you before I spend my coins on something. No need in having wasted money sitting under my sink, ya know what I'm saying. So far, I watch your reviews because I trust your word. I purchased some items from NLS after you said they were having a sale. The prices were very reasonable at that time too. I am very happy with my purchase. My only problem I'm having is how to use the Strawberry Smoothie. I have a twa that I've decided to grow out so I do wash and go's. I don't know if it will do well with wash n go's because all of the video's I've seen are twist outs. My hair isn't quite that long for those yet. I may try it though. Thank you Rae!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'm not sure what you are using to style your wash and gos, but if it is a harder holding gel, you could use the smoothie under it for some added moisture. Also, you hair will grow so fast that you will be able to use the smoothie for a twist out in no time. Thanks for tuning in and engaging with me.💛
Ooohhh ok. I use the okra gel, which I truly love. It had my hair looking beautiful all week until my next wash day. I didn’t have to add more product to my sides, they actually stayed curly. I was so happy Rae! Lol. I digressed lol, so maybe I can use the smoothie under the okra gel as a leave in instead of the banana leave in? I don’t want to overload my hair with product. I have 3/4 type hair, it’s fine hair but I have a lot of strands. I don’t want t which can get gummy on my hair. What do you think?

Hi Rae, glad you are feeling better; AJ is a wonderful young man… he stepped right in and took care of things and allowed you to rest (that in itself speaks volumes)❤ so I know he’s doing well being away and in college (learned this with my daughter). With that, my question for AJ is how do you balance your classes , work, practice, and personal time for yourself? Do you find it difficult saying no to your peers and if so, how do you handle it?
Now, auntie talk lol you are very handsome and I know that the chaser’s (my choice of words) are probably after you…keep your integrity and character because it will take you further than you realize, and before you do anything ask yourself how will this affect me(parents) in the next 5minutes, a week or month you get the picture 😊
MsRae, are you finding it difficult allowing AJ to come to you guys IF he has any questions or concerns, or do you attempt to fix things prior because as a mother you know? The prepoos are good and the brush even better, so it does make detangling pretty easy. Because I just found this comment in my "held for review" comments, which I don't understand why, it didn't make it into the Q&A with AJ. Your's is not the only one either. With that said, I am going to have to do another Q&A with AJ a little later and I will definitely add this question to that list. Hi RaeRae...I tried both of these detanglers in the past. I did not notice any major difference. The Dr. Miracles detangler is similar to these two brands too. That's a great idea to use up the products. One thing I am going to start doing is putting the dates on my products too. I am a recovering product junkie therefore, I have a lot of old products I never got to try, now I think they are too old to apply to my hair. If I have products over 1 year old...I am tossing them out. RaeRae I have similar thoughts on the Bond Repairs...we haven't used all these bond repairs in the past??? 😄 Great video and talk.
I agree that there is no major difference. I know Dr. Miracles has one, too, but I can't remember if I tried that on or not. I'm sure it is very similar. Someone else mentioned to me that they put the dates on their products and I should do the same, but I keep forgetting. I need to do that so I can keep track of how long I've had a product sitting in my shelf, as well. Yep, bond repairs are a trend and will be gone before you know it. Then it will be something else. We have to be careful putting all this stuff in our hair, especially when we don't need it. Thanks for tuning in and engaging with me.

I tried the African Pride prepoo awhile ago and did not like it. It didn’t take to my hair well. Felt no slip and my hair felt dry. I recently tried the Just for Me prepoo and I really like it!!! I like the smell and it has soo much slip. My hair feels soft and even has shine, which has helped my wash days a lot

I'm going to pass on Fenty Hair for the same reasons you mentioned. My hair is healthy with no major issues. I asked my stylist about bond building products, and she said I don't need it since my hair is healthy and not chemically treated. It's important to know what your hair needs (or doesn't in this case.)

Hi Rae first things first I am sorry to hear you were under the weather but glad you are doing better and second I saw sherryberry dc short talk video yesterday about meeting you and I commented on her video that was great that you’ll got to meet and last but not least I loved this chat video and concur on the fenty products. I have never used either of the pre-poos. I love your new video ideas to use up what you open until it’s gone. Question for AJ what does he miss the most about not living with his parents and possibly one thing he regrets not paying more attention to that you’ll were trying to instill in him to prepare for adulthood that he now realizes. Example if you tried to show him how to balance his bank account and now he just spends and has overdraft fees 😂. I know that is not him but just giving an example.

Enjoyed the video! My youngest daughter will be a freshman in college in August. She's a straight natural and I have always done her hair. She only trusts me and won't let anybody else touch it. I get it and honestly I don't really trust anybody else in her head either. So we have been working on making sure she can manage and take care of her own hair. Of all the things I could be stressing out about, the health and maintenance of my daughter's hair is the most stressful. She will be 7 hours away from home😢😢. Anyway, my question for you is what was the thing that stressed you out the most about AJ first going to college? My question for AJ is besides obviously football, what other social clubs and/or activities did you get involved in as a freshman and why?

That way neither one of you will have to stress over her hair because she'll be able to do it no problem. 7 hours is quite a ways away, but it is not too far that you can't hop on the road at any time if you need to.
