Other characters should've been able to deduce that Lelouch and Suzaku would not work together unless there is something really fucked up going on and those two had to join forces to stop that.

Lelouch grants Suzaku the poetic title of being 'Knight of Zero' meaning he is secretly Zero's knight and by emphasis as a knight for no one; a masterless knight or a knight who stands by himself.
The fun part about this scene is that Lelouch did not tell a single lie. He did came from the very depth of Hell (betrayed by the Black Knights, facing his father in another dimension). He IS the 99th Britannian emperor. He killed Charles (hands, voice... does not matter, he killed him and was not shy about it). And they WILL recognize him. And he is fulfilling his promise to Suzaku. He is tearing everything apart... and remaking it anew.Such a terrifyingly powerful scene. Made even more so by the bone-chilling, spine-tingling orchestral glory of the track 'The Master'. Three of the most powerful scenes of the series had this track as background, and boy did they give me Imperial Goosebumps Every. Single. Time. The other two scenes are, of course, when Lelouch prepares his troops for his final showdown with Charles in the C world, and his victory speech aboard the Damocles.

Lelouch > Light Yagami. Lelouch actually achieved what he wanted from the very beginning. His plan worked and he didn't let power corrupt his mind. Light on the other hand turned into a senseless serial killer and wasn't even close to his goal when he was killed
To be fair, Death Note and Code Geass were written with entirely different messages in mind. Death Note was written with the message that absolute power corrupts absolutely, thus, Light was destined to devolve into an outright monster by the end of his life. Meanwhile, Code Geass is a little more optimistic, written with the message that power can be used to better the world.

To be fair, light's power is inferior to the geass, the restrictions on it were quite severe and he could only kill people, not control them, light also existed in a universe where power was well distributed and didn't have rebels to take control of, light didn't have lelouch's charisma even if they had similar intelligence, light was too close to his enemies (he was literally the son of a cop) and was immediately in a disadvantage since he couldn't defeat the whole legal system with his death note and needed to be crafty for those like L while lelouch could easily defeat someone like L and even turn them against the police by simply controling him. Lastly light didn't have an end game, he developped a god complex but didn't have the means to achieve it since no matter what you can't become a god in the modern world no matter how much power you possess, he also got overconfident after defeating L, and unlike lelouch who only lost men and ressources after getting too confident, light lost his anonymity. They can't really be compared but suffice to say that light had both a worse mentality, worse powers, assets and starting point.

あとこの2人が繋がってたのを黒の騎士団に見せつけられたのも良かった
これみた全ての人がシュナイゼルにもギアスがあると思い、ルルーシュがシュナイゼルにギアスかけた時もまだ裏があると思いつつ見てたら、マジで何も持ってなくて普通に従ってしまったと言う。
逆にギアス世界で頭脳だけであそこまで上り詰めたシュナイゼルがエグすぎただけなんよなぁw

Lelouch > Light Yagami. Lelouch actually achieved what he wanted from the very beginning. His plan worked and he didn't let power corrupt his mind.
Light on the other hand turned into a senseless serial killer and wasn't even close to his goal when he was killed
To be fair, Death Note and Code Geass were written with entirely different messages in mind. Death Note was written with the message that absolute power corrupts absolutely, thus, Light was destined to devolve into an outright monster by the end of his life. Meanwhile, Code Geass is a little more optimistic, written with the message that power can be used to better the world.
Matthew Pinon well Lelouch is the type I will call a “evil hero” lol he saved the world as a villain, while light is just evil and pure insanity.

Light is evil who is pretending to be a hero, Lelouch is a hero who is pretending to be evil.
To be fair, light's power is inferior to the geass, the restrictions on it were quite severe and he could only kill people, not control them, light also existed in a universe where power was well distributed and didn't have rebels to take control of, light didn't have lelouch's charisma even if they had similar intelligence, light was too close to his enemies (he was literally the son of a cop) and was immediately in a disadvantage since he couldn't defeat the whole legal system with his death note and needed to be crafty for those like L while lelouch could easily defeat someone like L and even turn them against the police by simply controling him. Lastly light didn't have an end game, he developped a god complex but didn't have the means to achieve it since no matter what you can't become a god in the modern world no matter how much power you possess, he also got overconfident after defeating L, and unlike lelouch who only lost men and ressources after getting too confident, light lost his anonymity.
They can't really be compared but suffice to say that light had both a worse mentality, worse powers, assets and starting point.

the moment lelouch and suzaku team up, its basically checkmate for everyone. suzaku is the only one who can hinder or even stop lelouch's plans from happening because he is such a wild card.
Imagine being a high school student randomly watching TV and you see the edgy kid from your student council who was known for skipping class and organizing pizza parties overthrowing your government and taking the throne.

It is little known that Suzaku was an Edgerunner, and is actually sporting some serious cyberware under that plain normal-looking facade of his.
Other than being possibly a speed+strength build and not using a Sandevistan (?), little is known of what kind of cyberware he has on.
12 years ago anime, still remain fresh in my memory. It shows legend Lelouch still lives with me.

My favorite part of Code Geass were the fights against Mao but also, I loved that the very few times that Lelouch and Suzaku join forces, they were always unstoppable. If they had always fought together, it would have been easy to accomplish Lelouch's dreams even without Geass.

I made a canon in my head where the black knights didn't join forces with Schneizel after realizing there won't be any benefit upon taking side from him and helped Lelouch and Lelouch told them the truth and so everyone got united and the Anti-matter bombs was destroyed. Happy ending!

So Lelouch took over 2/3 of the world in 3 minutes, brainwashed about all of the Britannian nobles in Pendragon in said 3 minutes.

Now im working, trying to find something to watch while trying to relax. And i remembered about lelouch's story. Good times.

Being able to take over an entire empire that controls 1/3 of the world as a student... that's one of the most insane feats an anime has to offer.
