Haha thank you, but it would be impossible at the moment. Many of them are packed in boxes and put in storage, and I try to rotate them every 6-12 months to be displayed. But over the years, I have also donated many of them to charity. I _have_ been fantasizing about doing up a dream display in about 3 years time when I have the funds though, so maybe then!
After watching this video, I now think my favorite group of dinosaurs is the Ceratopsians. Even though I only have a few Ceratopsian figures in my collection, I love how diverse they look. I'm sure you've heard this from me before, but I want to see each and every dinosaur and prehistoric mammal get their respective figures. So our future generations will at least feel how we felt and try to cherish the memories we had as kids. 🖤
At the rate that HLG is going, I am confident we actually will! HLG is doing what PNSO used to do... give us a diverse range of animals, and releasing frequently throughout the year. Compared to CollectA and Safari Ltd where it's just a once or twice a year thing. And you can see how HLG is deciding on models that we all want, or are way overdue. I hope for HLG what I used to hope for PNSO: Prehistoric mammals and marine reptiles!
Thank you so much for your videos, so informative. my kid is 4 and I brought out my massive old dinosaur model collection (about to get more massive with all your videos luring me to buy more haha)
@@DinosDragons the enthusiasm is being translated into scientific educational interest in the child and we are very thankful . I developed my interest in molecular biology and eventually did medicine because of Michael Crichton's novel!
Wonderful walk down Memory Lane! I entered the world of dinosaur models just as Carnegie's discontinuation was announced. I remember my excitement as Doug Watson's ceratopsian sculpts were released and it's good to be reminded of the Regaliceratops and Nasutoceratops. And like you, I'm fond of the CollectA Xenoceratops - such a striking scheme! I'm less harsh about the large CollectA Triceratops - but I have the Melbourne Museums version and that is more attractive. Granted, large!
Absolutely delighted to hear your own experiences, Elizabeth! I am sure if we compiled a collection of when and how different serious collectors got started, it would make very interesting reading indeed! Doug Watson is really one of the best, and has done so much to elevate the Safari brand of dinosaurs, in my opinion. It is a pity that the details couldn't be as fine as on the HLG or the PNSOs, which would make repainting them with plenty of subtlety easier for the artists I sometimes commission to do repaints from. His Safari Ltd Triceratops, for example, is still my _favourite_ Triceratops in terms of overall form. If only the detail as finer, I would get Jay Carriere to do a repaint for me.
@@DinosDragons As you've most likely heard Dracorex and Stygimolock are thought to be juveniles of Pachycephalosaurus and they would reabsorb the horns as they age. But after volunteering at a museum and talking with a professional they explained to me no other horned animal does that so it's implausible for this to be the case. It's a theory built on almost nothing.
I'm curious how many models in your collection. Do collection room tour please 😁
I would love to see his dinosaur collection as well!

¡Excelente colección! Una gran oportunidad para ver una pequeña porción de todo lo que tienes 🤩

I love your channel, keep up the great work brother.
Thank you for your support, I will definitely strive to do my best!

Oh no! I hope I won't be responsible for a deluge of models into your house and a huge outflow of money going out your wallet!

Ceratopsians are cool animals
They are my often second-favourite group!

1:02 Thats another popular theory I have issues with.
Ah! What about it specifically?

Yo I have that book
Mine is in significantly worse condition though
Hahah I guess there are very few people as obsessive and OCD about protecting books as me 😁😁😁
