This actually was not bad at all. Just because they have a different voice doesn't mean it's not still Kamelot. I accept them as they are. I'm just glad there still IS a Kamelot. Hope Roy gets better soon, like @TravisLally said. Thank you, Travis, for not being an asshole like that other guy was. Respect :)
I love Rhapsody's Fabio, and think he did a damn good job subbing for Khan in the tour - the band still sounds like Kamelot. But then they went and picked the skilled but rather passionless Tommy Karevik to replace Khan... :(
Of course this guy is no Khan but hey his voice is damn near impossible to mimic so I give Fabio alot of respect for getting up on stage singing Khan's song
@SystematicChaos1928 Fabio Lione scrub??? Dream Theater is my favorite band but there's just no point of comparison in frontmanning and singing skills. Fabio has a much more powerful voice than Labrie and he really knows how to interact with the public.
@TheFinalthorn So, They have said that Khan got "Burnout", which is basically a mental breakdown. Instead of chastising him for leaving, we should be thanking him for making the seven studio and two live albums. He has done so much for his fans, and this is how he is thanked? This is why metal has such a shitty reputation. Thank you Khan for everything you have given us. Get well soon.
Fabio has more range than Roy, but it lacks the passion and emotion that Kahn brought to the songs. It's like comparing Dio and DC Cooper -- both made fantasitic music, but they are quite different in their tonal qualities. I would love to see Tom pick up Roberto Taranti of Labyrinth (if he's willing) -- he's got emotion, quality, stage presence and incredible range and could take Kamelot to the next level. I hope that Fabio and Kamelot go out and attract lots of new fans and do well.
He's a good singer. Very good in fact...... but this isn't Kamelot... you can't replace such an influential front man and still be the same band as you were before he came. Just doesn't feel like this is Kamelot to me.
If Roy and Fabio did a duet together, heaven would implode.
A dream come true. Fabio is singing in Kamelot!
Fabio fits perfectly in this song particulary!!! What a huge voice sorcerer!!! Beautiful
Fabio can sing anybloodything! Brilliant!
You can't compare Fabio and Roy different persons, different feelings. each of them are great singers

Khan never could sing good a Rhapsody song like Dawn of Victory or Holy Thunderforce. Both re genius in their groups.

Fabio Lione rocks!!! \m/
Very well put.
You know, I was expecting this to be a lot worse. But actually, I really like Fabio frontmanning. Its a damn shame we're losing Khan though.
It's not only about hitting the notes!
Besides having a fantastic voice (just a killing timbre!!!), Khan also put his soul into every song!
1:05 and here
Of course this guy is no Khan but hey his voice is damn near impossible to mimic so I give Fabio alot of respect for getting up on stage singing Khan's song
To be fair whoever was replacing Roy Khan was filling in some pretty big shoes but both Fabio and Tommy did a great job.

What is this??? Kamelot remains amazing though Kahn is gone???????
It makes two of us!!

@ClockwiseWitness Same for me

Era so ter chamado o detonator
@alchimia1987 Orgoglio italiano ^^
Actually not bad...
May Kamelot prosper with a new knight at the table...

just not the same without khan... there is no passion
Fabio Lione has an amazingly awesome voice, but it doesn't feel as emotional for the part as Kahn's did :(
Yama-B would be good in Kamelot, in my opinion at least.
he was just singing..I don't feel the emotion in his song.

roy khan>fabio lione
lol @ someone comparing this scrub to Labrie. Labrie is the one of the best metal singers out there.
Chris Brooks lol
