As a customer ... nothing irritates me more than paying for a wash package and not getting the services i paid for.... or seeing neglected and broken equipment.
See, what they really need to do is add material to the wraps, and fix the second top brush. Then, they need to add a couple of LED lights, as that whole tunnel just seems dark. Other than that, I really do believe then, that this tunnel would have potential to stay. The rinse and dryer stage still looks pretty good.
J.J. Atchison I think the entire car wash needs to be replaced. I would personally replace all of that crappy equipment with PECO and Belanger equipment.
That thing needs help definitely whatever was supposed to go on the car before the big brush came down did terrible and dryers almost sounded like they shut off when you were getting car dried they need to update this equipment or fix it it did ok and no tri foam what the fuck what package did you get
Samuel Moore Will probably be better to close it, but if it was up to me, I would rip out the entire wash including the conveyor, and put in new Sonny’s equipment.
Probably not MacNeil equipment is known for being junk, as someone who works on them for a living I can confidently say this tunnel is most likely dead 💀
If I paid for a wash here and see that the brushes are so dirty and shredded I would turn right back around and ask for my money back I'm not risking damage to the paint on my car or risking other damage done to it they need to close it down and either replace everything or keep it closed
@@carwashreviewsandmore7609 i dont know what your definition of scratches are, but in my book, they absolutely unequivocally do. its an objective fact. not through to bare metal, but they absolutely do swirl paint up. Swirls to me are scratches.
You're super lucky you didn't get stuck in there as that tunnel needs some serious maintenance attention. I agree, call the number. Also, your cracked windshield scares me everytime you go through the dryers.
my local mcneil tunnel is decent, i dont like how half the time the dryers malfunction, and brushes glitch out and never activate, it also leaves lots of soap on the car but my dad says its his fav because its the closest carwash to our house, its $10 and u get a free vacuum which they are MONSTER STRONG!!!!!

Why do you say AWFUL MacNeil Car Wash? It may be MacNeil equipment but they are not responsible for the upkeep. Who ever runs or services this should not be in the car wash business

The timing and air compression on this wash is horrid. I work at a wash with a 130 foot MacNeil tunnel and this makes my heart ache :(

Although soft touch washes don’t scratch cars, this one looks like it can do some serious damage.
