And finally “The Man in the Glass” by Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr.

Well I am kinda reading the "This is What You Shall Do” by Walt Whitman. I thought it was like a poem but it was more serious and straight up. In other words, one always has and will have days where he kinda feels lost. This is the best thing that can fix his wandering mind.
While reading “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley. My mouth was yelling, "Damn yeahh!!!!" at every fourth line. I loved this one because I think it resonates with every man. The soul is intangibly expensive which makes a man.
I am really afraid to read Shakespeare's work because let's be honest, English is not my native. And, Shakespeare writes like a scholar of Old English. That's the reason I never read the bible because that English is tough to understand. As expected this one took me to frown and I had to google words in this one.🤣 The stages or phases he mentioned are a miracle of time that one man has to go through.
“If” by Rudyard Kipling was personal to me. The line about one leap for all win and then lose it all. But never speak a word about it to none. That was so damn personal!
“Can’t” by Edgar Albert Guest: My professor once told me this. Since then I started using Can't very less but I did remove "should" from my life and replaced it with "must"
“Don’t quit” by John Greenleaf Whittier is again a very personal one. Every bit of word mentioned in it is true and strikes straight at my heart.
“The Man in the Glass” by Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr: I got my own struggles. I am finally gonna take being true to myself more seriously. I believe that is the only way I would find clarity.

Side note: your English writing skills do not come off as someone who speaks it as a second language. You do very well, in fact I think you’re grammar is better than mine at times lol.
Also tiny side note: you haven’t really missed anything my not reading the Bible. In fact, all the content of the poems I shared cannot be found within the limits of the Bible. (I know because I was forced to read the Bible, cover to cover, several times, while I was a child.)

I spent some years in the MARINES ... and the war in my mind is tougher than the time I sent in the Marines. Don't know how to win it. Sometimes it's hard not to give in and allow it to stop. But I have a wife and 7 kids. Don't know what to do Mos the time.

It’s so true I have two sons and a daughter and I don’t remember them ever seeing me cry because I do my crying in the dark in the silence no one knows about it but me the only comfort I get are from my male friends that I could actually tell them how I feel and what I’m going through I can not tell any woman my personal issues as a man for one they will never understand how hard it is to be a man secondly they will judge you it’s that simple I don’t care what women say they will look down upon you if you show those type of emotions as a man so this song touches every man of any race because we’re all men and men do not get unconditional love we get conditional love we have to do certain things to receive love and if we cannot do them any longer we’re out and it’s very unfortunate just think about how much mothers are celebrated on Mother’s Day compared to Father’s Day think about it you receive a gift card to Home Depot or you receive tools for what reason for you to continue fixing more stuff so sadKeep your head up man I love every single one of you we have to stick together we have to communicate with each other women do not understand or struggle they do not understand her emotions but men do open up to each other
