The sheer evolution their live performances is unbelievable, they use to be a trio of kinda awkward introverts now they dominate the stage. it has been truly inspiring to watch i love them so much
I've never considered them the strongest live act out there by any stretch, but they've come a long, long way. Lauren (and gawd knows I have nothing but love for that woman and her voice) isn't the most gifted live vocalist out there, maybe affected by a certain level of shyness as you point out, but she's so, so much better now. You hear live performances from 8, 5, 3 years ago and you see the steady progression. This set was one of her best lives I've seen as a vocalist. I still feel she hasn't reached full potential yet, which is great. I know it sounds like veiled criticism, I'm nitpicky regarding live performance, but there are few bands in music so special to me, and I only wish to see them thrive (like they've been doing). I still dream of seeing them live some day.

Churches sound reminds me so much like an Australian band called cut copy. I do like her accent coming through at times reminds me of the girl from altered images a bit.
What an spectacular performance and what a DEAD crowd. They reeeally should come and tour Latin America, and they'll witness an audience that actually goes NUTS at the sound of every chord, every synth, every vocal, every guitar solo. I hope they come soon. We're waiting for it 💙🤍💙🇦🇷
Is it just me but why wern't any of the people getting up and dancing or entering into this awesome performance??? Just sat there like stones!! Shame on them with lauren and the band giving a star performance. If they were in a venue near me i would be dancing in the roof timbers and I'm over 50 lol!
i don't know why, but i am thinking of a broken sound chip from an old 1980s video game console, perhaps a wonky intellivision or something of the sort, and not in a 'cool' or millennial ironic retro hipster 'aint vintage 80s cool' fashion, when i listen to this band. weird, maybe its something scottish about them, i dont know.

How Not To Drown might have won the best song award but any one of about 8 tracks from the album could have got it, the album is just that good.
