I am in the UK and often wonder why trucks that spend most of their life on tarmac roads have what we call double drive( drive to both rear axles) over here most trucks only have drive to one axle and either a lifting centre or rear ( tag ) axle even some heavy haulage up to category 2 at 80ton have only single drive , only trucks on category 3 150tons + have double drive . Tipping trucks used in construction are the only other ones with double drive . Excellent channel keep the good work good to see whats going on over the pond Best Wishes for 2020

those 3.08 gears out back with 22.5 tall tires, that 18 speed must be a little different 18 speed than normal. I had a 1994 Peterbilt 379 ex-hd. with 3.08 rears & a 18 speed & the tranny wasn't a double overdrive. Worked out nice, many years later I put 3.55 rears & a RTLO18919-B transmission in truck & the setup was exactlly the same as far as rpm to speed. We even never had to adjust the speedometer..i'd say that this truck with a RTLO20918-B & the 3.08's must get out & fly. good thing it's 2050 lb. torgue engine.

Good looking truck for sure. Hope he doesn’t have to drive off the payment any. New Peterbilt’s are junk! They rattle, they clank. Dust gets in through the vents. Definitely not built like they were in the 90’s. They are just concerned about mass production nowadays!!
Hi. Sense Am not a trucker and by all means know nothing about semi.I like to know. What do You mean by 4 negative on the 5th wheel? BTW. Beautiful truck and paint job. KUDOS from South Florida.
Than means the center of the 5th wheel pin can go 4" behind the center of the drive axles. This is an important setting based off the trailer you will be hauling and making necessary clearance for landing gear on the trailer while providing enough space to move the 5th wheel to other positions to properly distribute the load. Great question! I will talk in more detail on one of my next video's to give better visual reference.
Jimmy, It makes it hard all the time if you are tall like me! That is why most guys modify their seats to sit lower. I am more partial to a 12" drop vs. a 14" like this one but these guys like Sergio are Pro's and it is no issue for them.
