Erin, if you think that about croissants, you haven’t had the right one! A true croissant is a delicacy of outer crispiness and inner fluffiness… delicate and beautiful. Same with bagels. Either way, come visit Montreal to taste both and more!
Agreed. Croissants are amazing if they are real and not just grocery store variety. Bagels, get you a good NYC one before you write them off. Also use a toaster. Panera bagels are just ok but toasting is needed.
Erin Robinson + Panera baked goods = BEST VIDEO EVER🍰🥐🍪 We had a family tradition growing up of splitting the cheese danish like a pizza after church! Love you girlie 💕
i love watching these videos, especially love watching seeing your view numbers go up while watching! makes me so happy. you deserve so many more views than you already get. your content is so wholesome and warm feeling? thank you for making so much content!
FYI, that is an orange scone and not lemon. It’s actually one of my favorite things in the Panera bakery. It reminds me of the orange cinnamon rolls my mom used to make when I was a kid.
Yup it's an orange scone. I've worked at Panera for 8 years and I'll never get tired of the cinnamon crunch bagel toasted with butter Try the Green Goddess items and chipotle chicken and bacon flatbread (with bbq sauce and red onion) OMG So good. ❤🤤
My favorite thing at Panera is the orange scone (& I don't usually order orange anything, because it often tastes like baby aspirin & I never liked that kind of fake orange flavor). That orange scone seems very popular where I live; it's usually gone when I get there (& usually, if it's after 2:00, they aren't making any more for the day).
@@jeanneg7430if you have plans to go to Panera later in the day, call ahead and they will put it away for you. Or order online for delivery or pickup ❤
So much fun!! Another great food review 👑 Erin!! 👏👏 I Have to try the cinnamon roll 😋 AND the chive and onion spread sounds great too... but, not together of course. 😆😅
I watch every single video of yours like this and man this one hit different lol. I’m not allowed to eat any of this anymore bc of gestational diabetes so I’m totally living vicariously through you. I really wanted a freakin cookie the other week, bc it was the first sweet I’ve had in 7 weeks, so I stupidly ate an entire kitchen sink cookie. Do not do that 😂. It apparently has 99g of carbs. I spiked all the way in the 230s and the crash was epically horrible. So thank you for this. ❤❤❤
Hey Erin, there is a lemon extract in our white icing. So anything with white icing or the holiday cookies (made with the same icing and gel colors) is going to have that lemon taste.
Do you not toast your bagels? With some butter and cream cheese, yummy. This video looked ... amazing. Like the best taste testing ever. Thanks for your tireless efforts in ranking food we actually want to eat.
I do! Some of these actually were toasted but I actually prefer just the bagel untested. Is that weird?!!? I didn't want to toast all of them because once they've cooled they get kind of hard to chew
@@ErinRobinson I don't think it's that weird. It's bread? Who doesn't like bread it all it's form? I cut cupcakes in half and then put the bottom part on top so it makes a sandwich. I'm sure people think that's weird.
Tip for the bagels: try them toasted. I think it improves the texture so much: slightly crispy on the outside, and chewy in the middle. Lightly toasted, and with a butter spread? That will rock your world! :)
I have had them toasted and can confirm that they are better that way for sure! I still feel like I haven't had one that has turned me into a bagel girlie yet. Do you have a bagel from a restaurant that you LOVE? I feel like I need to find the best one!
@@ErinRobinson Honestly, my favorites are the generic cinnamon raisin ones from the grocery store, toasted and buttered. Cheaper, and you can hit that craving whenever you want. If you reallllly want indulgent, sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top. Hope you like it! :)
Their soups are pretty good. I enjoy the autumn squash and the broccoli cheddar options. Oooh if you do Sam's Club you should get their rotisserie chicken and have a battle of which bulk store has the better $5 rotisserie chicken. My Sam's club also has a decent heat and serve rack of bbq ribs (sauced) and brisket (naked).
I just found your channel after searching for good hot chocolate. I appreciate you testing all of these sweet treats for us. My stomach couldn’t handle it.
Oh gosh! This is giving me flashbacks to when one of my college roommates worked at our local Panera and our dorm became a bakery with leftovers. We should have made it a business. 😂🤣 We would have been so wealthy. Campus food was inferior to Panera. Anyway, my tummy is growling now. I need a snack, Erin! Ugh, I miss Panera.
Currently in the mountains for my birthday but had to jump on and tell ya I went to Costco !! Had the roast beef .was very pricey and a little fry , the good part was the pickled onions and sun dried tomatoes . Not sure I will buy again though 😊
Growing up there was a deli down the street that made the best cream cheese flavors!!! The owner and his wife were from New York and made the best lox cream cheese… as well as chive flavored cream cheese… I could eat a whole tub of it on one bagel!!!
You know what, i thought i liked Oatmeal raisin cookies, but i mostly like the Oatmeal part and just accept the raisins! Damn, Erin you now need to make a video where you create a oatmeal based cookie and add alternatives to raisins.
I, make Quarker Oats Recipe from the back of the Container. It's their Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies! I'm like Erin. I, don't really care for Raisins & even worse are Hot Raisins!
Erin if you like oatmeal cookies without raisins you need to try the soft baked cinnamon brown sugar oatmeal squares from nature valley. They are so good!!!
Ok never knew Panera had so many items. I’ve only been there maybe twice and I had the Mac and cheese and a sandwich. Need to go that kitchen sink cookie and the cinnamon crunch bagel. They sound so delicious
What the Asiago bagels didn't make the top 10?😢I am hurt!. Lol My favorite is the Asiago bagel and the orange cranberry muffin!!! Or the orange scone! Great, now I want panera... also, their chocolate brownie is really good. Warm it up and some vanilla ice cream on top, and girl, you will be in heaven.
Erin, I am the same way with Raisins. My Mom, used to make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies from the Recipe, on the back of a Quaker Oats Container. Now I, won't Eat Oatmeal Cookies any other way❤ Hugs n Kisses to Benji 😘❤ Blessings & Love to you ALL, Piper & Singer a.k.a My Kitty. P.S. Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, with Honey Walnut Cream Cheese & Asiago Cheese Bagel with Onion & Chive Cream are My 2 Favorites at Panera. Yet, their Cheddar Broccoli in a Bread is good too!
Loved the video (as usual) and yes, you can freeze the cookies. I did when I tried one of every flavour at Crumbl one week. Unfortunately you can't freeze your brain from thinking about them calling to you from freezer. They didn't even have a chance to get freezer burn. LOL
I know this is old, but I truly hope you see this. The biggest things that have made a difference in my A1C have been walking (I have a walking pad under my standing desk) every day and a higher protein to carb ratio. I learned the protein thing when I had gestational diabetes. If you're gonna have a carby meal, I will have a protein shake just before or after. Chocolate Fairlife are my favorite bc they just taste like chocolate milk but there's a ton of options. I would consider looking up a GD cookbook or recipes bc the diet changes were fairly easy (for me) and evened out my sugars so much.
I have two daughters and when they were off for the summer, we'd go to St. Louis Bread Co which is called Panera in places. I would get the everything bagel, my youngest would get the Asiago bagel and the oldest would get the cinnamon crunch. We asked for them to be bread sliced and we'd share. I get sentimental when I think about it.
Years ago at my local Panera, the chocolate croissants used to look like the one you ate in this video, but now it’s a regular croissant with a chocolate spread inside and drizzled with chocolate and powdered sugar. Either way I love them
Your top 2 are my top 2 as well. I really enjoy the cranberry orange muffin though.. we didn’t agree there lol. You’re right though.. not everyone loves tart flavors and that’s ok 😊
You're so right about raisins! To me, they taste like deception because my grandmother used to make great chocolate chip cookies, but every once in a while, she'd send us home with a batch that turned out to be oatmeal raisin. 😫
I have a lot to say but I'm gonna go easy...my brother worked at Panera from like 04-06 when we lived together, and the food took a serious dive right around 2010. As you were going through the dessert-y items, I started to think I should give them a serious shot, but the bagels looked pretty miserable, Erin, I gotta say it. Even the cinnamon crunch bagel you got isn't up to what it used to be. When I would recommend it back in the day, I would tell people they had to try that with the honey walnut because it was like a bagel stuffed with cinnamon rock candy. Lol As far as the food menu, I heard someone on TH-cam say a couple of years ago that Panera was glorified hospital lunch room food, and I think that's pretty accurate. I can't leave on such a negative, so I will say, the cookies here looked good, so maybe I'll stop in for some of those.
The kitchen sink cookies used to have me in a chokehold 😂 Thank God I don’t live near Panera anymore! I was gonna recommend Einstein Bagel but you are not a bagel fan. Their cream cheese smears are top tier!
I agree with you on the sugar cookies from the store, especially the ones at Target or Walmart.. NEVER trust those "sugar cookies" lol! It has to be homemade & fresh to be a good sugar cookie lol
You don't gotta tell me twice about Panera, I love this place. A Caprese Melt, broccoli cheddar soup, agave lemonade, and an Oatmeal Raisin cookie? It's a wrap. Novalin R, btw, pick it up at a Walmart with a needle, you'll be fine.
My bakery choice is always bread! Bread with my sandwich, bread with my soup! They took the 10 veg soup off the menu . It was my favorite. I get the med veg w/o feta and extra hummus. Taking out meat and dairy ( I have not had meat in 5 years but I cannot say I have turned down every piece of cheese pizza that has been offered to me) really helped my A1C. I have not gone over 6 in 4 years and was at almost 7 for 3 before that 🫶🏻
So when I first started dating my fiancé he would eat the Asiago Bagel with the Honey Walnut Cream Cheese. I thought eww. Lol. But it’s actually really good! I promise! I warm up the bagel for a few seconds just to soften it up. Spread on the cream cheese and eat it like a sandwich. 😊
You’re barely out of diapers?! It’s amazing to know someone still spends their time in double diapers and is spanked regularily. I also wish for a day when we’re all in diapers all the time

The kitchen sink chocolate chip cookie is my favorite!
The Kitchen Sink cookie is my favorite of all time. It takes me 2-3 days to eat it because it's so rich.
It is my favorite too. Take it home and pop in microwave for 10 seconds and it becomes pure heaven!
