    Erica, you honestly are one of the best teachers. I started quilting last year, my first quilt was a rag quilt. I’ve learned so much, thank you! Love your channel, it is so bright and uplifting, a real joy to watch.

    You are so detailed with your instructions. So many YT'ers skip little steps assuming viewers know, but you skip nothing. Plus your editing, tagging each stage, so well done. I know this takes time to put together. Just sub'd and look forward to checking out more. 👍👊

    I made 15 of these for Christmas and gave them as gifts. The recipients LOVED them! And they're a great way to use up fabric you may have leftover after making a quilt.

    Ohhh, thank you!!! I've been staring at this pattern for nearly 2 years, unable to comprehend the pattern. Thank you for going slowly and step-by-step, and for including your suggested tips. I made my bag in one day (it was 12 hours long, but it's done)! Whoever was working the camera did a fantastic job too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Excellent tutorial. I kept my iPad beside my sewing machine through the entire process. I also chose to use foam on the exterior too, thought it might make it more difficult to manage but it didn’t. The only other task I found helpful was to baste the zipper in place before adding the binding. I’ve had the pattern and fabric for 8-9 months, glad to find your tutorial, it was a tremendous help. Thank you!

    You make things look so simple. I learn something new from you every time I watch your channel. Today I learned that if your zipper is plenty long enough, you can sew without the zipper pull being in the way. I have always cut the zipper to the size of the bag then sewn it on, struggling at times with the pull. Once I think about it, its common sense. Thanks for another great tip!! ❤

    • @Teatime-mq6bv
      @Teatime-mq6bv 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You also may use endless zippers, so you can cut them as long as you would like. In this case longer. I love those as I always have the right size at home😉. There are many colors, kinds, and sizes on the market, often with special and really nice zipper pulls. Good luck💕

    Hi Erica, I love this bag so much. You really made it look fairly easy. I have been sewing since I was starting high school. I made all my clothes that 1st yr and the very 1st item I sewed was a fully lined suit with buttonholes!!! In those days you made your own. We did not have the “fancy” ones like now. Anyway I haven’t sewed in yrs unfortunately. I have a sewing machine and embroidery machine & a serger. I only know the sewing machine but now retired I would love to learn the other 2 machines. I found your channel several yrs ago and fell in love. Your so talented and sweet. I’ll be purchasing this pattern; hopefully it’s going to inspire me to get back to this craft. Have a blessed day. Stay safe. ❤gayle

    FYI: Reading all the postings about copyright, if you are a designer, document, document, document. Take lots of photos. They have a time stamp. Make hand written notes with dates and scan them into your documents so they are time and date stamped as well. Well organized, calm voice, lots of helpful hints, you chose complementary fabrics and of course it helps to be as pretty as you are! Very good video tute!! I've made 2 now, great for gifts! The one I finished today has a cute travel-oriented fabric, it's for my daughter who travels quite frequently for work. I used fusible fleece instead of foam, it gives structure but makes for a less rigid bag and is much easier to stitch through the layers than with the foam.

    This is a great bag to make, also if you have a Serger, serge the inside pockets inside pockets to make the seams stronger.
