Jeet, you're a rock star! But how do you harness the stream of permission set uses in to a viable exception report? (Akin to an electronic access control system which reports on unauthorized use?)
Hi Jeet, I have a question related to permission set. Suppose , I have a sales profile and they do not have access to Account Tab , now via a permission set i have given access to one of the user to access account tab. So will the user above the hierarchy will have access to account tab. I general , when we give any access via permission set , do that access is granted above the role hierarchy automatically.
I have a doubt appreciate if you could answer it. If both Permission Sets and Sharing Settings is used to open-up access over-riding OWD, what is the difference between Permission set and Sharing when functionality is same i.e to extend access to data and when do you use which feature. when 10 people have the same profile and only one user needs access to extra permission, I can create permission set, why not sharing rule? In which scenarios do you use Permission set and Sharing Settings please explain with examples.
permission set use for additional access to particuler user in same org who having same profile and Sharing setting use for data security ...and both scenario are explained in the given above video
