I don't think anyone is gonna dispute that. He is unarguably the most creative artist in gospel music.
Its a matter of him listening to the Holy Spirit so that the music reaches across all sides. He is willing to be obedient to follow the voice behind gift given.
Kirk writes so much of what the real honest, imperfect, flawed Christian feels on a daily. I agree with another post that it's not just a dope beat but the words provide some relief when we are confused about are daily walk with God. He is pouring his heart out to God which then gives him the inspiration to help us get through this thing called life .
