OMG girl I can 100% relate!! I am a Mexican who has been living in Germany and traveling the world for 5 years now and missing all those important moments from people back home that you mention here. But when i go back i also feel like i kinda don't belong anymore, or i feel like i don't see myself living there ever again, and that makes me very sad but i feel like i've changed so much now. Even when i see how awesome everyone and everything is back home... it's hard going back and i also get anxiety about that, so i fully understand you, everything has changed so much as well from what i have in my memories. And yeah i also wasn't used to say no, but from Germans i've learned to say everything i think very directly XD and it has literally changed my life very positively, i feel no regrets on saying what i think now. Anyway, don't wanna make this all about me, but i just want you to know you're not the only one feeling this way!

I can 100% relate! I decided to chose my husband and live with him in a different country and because of visa issues I haven’t been able to see my family for 2 years because I’m waiting for my green card! It’s very hard and I miss them deeply and I hope one day I will be able to go back home and see my parents and my sister and my animals I left behind❤

Such an amazing video. Thank you for sharing. Do you have a video of how to get over guilt. I am struggling with leaving due to the guilt of my family x

My therapist always says to me “can I disappoint another to be true to myself?”.
And that’s really helped me move past any guilt I have surrounding anything in my life (including leaving my family to travel / live wherever I want in the world).
Also, do you know that psychologists say peoples number 1 regret when on their death bed was living a life to keep OTHER PEOPLE happy…!
Repeat after me “I’m allowed to do what’s best for myself, even if it upsets other people” 💕❤️
      You’ve got this!

This was so cute and thanks for opening up. Btw I was guessing that that was the issue 😅 I am glad you could resolve it.
Where do you live now? And congrats to both of you to your engagement!
