I know, but that’s not Korra, who’s a big, muscular, tall, headstrong girl, who goes through a lot of trauma, but I see what you mean, she’s the complete opposite of Korra, in a good way.
It would be sooo hilarious if they animated this panel afterwards so that it looks like their characters are speaking :D

I love how Asami's voice actor said how she loves that 2 girls can not let a guy get in between them referencing towards Mako being in between Asami and Korra in the show but Mako's va is literally in between Asami and Korra's voice actors.
Mako is such a loser! I kept facepalming how these awesome capable girls kept going back to him. The guy has no clue what he wants and both of them could do way better imo
@@tamie341 There was a lot of cringe in this regard but to be fair, Korra forced this issue with Mako when he clearly said he didn't feel the same way. Then him and Asami fell for each other. Then Korra literally used his brother to make him jealous, then ambushed kissed him in front of Bolin lol. Then when he was with Korra eventually, she kept blaming him for taking sides and always got pissy.
In conclusion, Korra caused all of the relationship turmoil lol

They might all have known all along, with the directors even asking the actors what they thought about the idea, how they should write it and so on. Some directors keep almost everything a secret, some tell the actors everything, it depends of what kind of performance you want.

Regardless if ATLA or LoK didnt fit in with nickelodeon, its far better than most of the garbage they pull out nowadays.

@@tatianalebron599 LoK is fun but it does not come close to ATLA at all tbh. One of the things that made ATLA so great was it's worldbuilding, you slowly get to know this world where every city has its own quirks and where bending is intricately connected with its culture. Then there are the mysterious spirits who are neither good nor evil, and exist beyond the material world.
What is great about ATLA is thst everything made sense throughout the show. With other YA shows, you have the issue that that later seadons completely disregard all the rules created in earlier seasons. The new threat is so much more poeeful that the threat of earlier seasons becomes meaningless.
This is exactly the mistake that LoK made. They abandoned the Eastern inspired theme for a 1960s New York. They don't even try to hide that it is literally New York, all thr way doen to the color of the statue of liberty. Where Bending really was a part of culture in ATLA, i.e. earthbending trains, getting to temples on flying bisons, this is nowhere to be found in LoK. Bending is really just a tool to oppress, and every function it had is replaced by machinery. Which would make sense if Bending didn't exist, but in a world where Bending is so common, you would expect it to be a part of the technology.
Further, it completely disregards the treatment of spirits. Where they were once really the yin and the Yang, they are now 1 dimensional good guys or evil guys. The avatar suddenly is thr embodiment of ultimate good as opposed to a neutral force keeping the balance. The threat that Vaatu posed makes the precious 4 seasons completely obsolete. Moreover in ATLA it was explained that Air Earth and Fire benders learned their Bending from watching animals, and before that the lion turtles bent energy within a person. LoK again disregarded this, saying lion turtles gifted Bending and that every turtle only gifts one type of element.
I could go on, but all in all LoK while fun, does not even come close to ATLA. A big part of the excitement for LoK really only came from the nostalgia for ATLA imo. And I will say LoK season 2 was so bad it made me want to throw my remote at the screen and I don't even own a tv

If Netflix follows the live action ATLA show with Korra, I want Asami’s voice actor to play Asami, cause she looks so much like her, or at least, if they do an ember island play version of Korra, have her play Asami there. And of course, I wanna see Korra and Asami’s relationship fully unfold on screen, and not hidden away in some comic, which means them kissing at the end, which we never got in the show, and however else they could explore the relationship, while not just following the comic.

When I look up the voice actress and saw her picture. That was the same expression and the laughing and was amazed I could like something from her. Especially one of my all time favorite characters in the Avatar franchise. I did not like her at the beginning because she was very intimidating. After the whole series learning her character. Lin became an amazing role model.

I love her doing a little dancing during the secret tunnel part, here she should cameo as one of the secret tunnel dancers in the Netflix show. And I love Dee doing all the animal sounds, but to me, he’ll always be the voice of the clone troopers in star wars animation, hands down one of the best voices actors ever, a true master of the craft.

I’ve never been to a comic con so thank you for posting this. It’s so intriguing to meet the writers and voice actors in this format. The Avatar Universe is so deep along with the cast and writing team. Seeing everyone have so much fun with this is awesome.

If ever a live--action of Korra is done, I hope they both make Eska and Ryu interact and give the roles for those characters to the real life people on whom they are based. On a different note, I'm really hyped about the Netflix show. I watched an interview on TH-cam about how Paul Sun-Hyung Lee got the role for Iroh, and it seems like he for one is taking his role seriously and knows what the fandom wants and what the fandom is apprehensive about.

Haters have a problem with spelling things correctly
have to say, Korra and Asami as an item is a bunch of bull in my opinion. I guess they left it up to interpretation for the end but I just don't see it as a romance at all. More of a serious connection and sisterly bond. Neither of them ever had a sister or even a sibling when growing up and they both seem to be done with the whole romance thing. They just want to live their lives care free and explore the world with each other without any sexual tension. If the creators didn't want people to think of their romance as a possibility than they wouldn't have given us that ending. I guess it's to each his own, but I choose to see it as a deep sisterly bond that has developed over the past few years, unlike the romance that seemed kind of thrown in last minute.
