Kate, I LOVE the stitched down pleated skirt! Let me tell all you youngsters (😂) out there that I used to wear these all the time back in the 90s and they have only now come back into fashion, which is mad because they are super flattering! I saw a really great faux leather version in M &S and was hoping one of the Indy designers would be coming out with their version- and here it is! 🎉
I think it works when things don’t have to be perfectly precise & a few mm out won’t make a difference, but personally I would not use it for something too involved as it’s hard to get all the sheets perfectly lined up. If I were making a coat or something quite fitted, I would get copyshop printing instead.
Like everything, it gets easier with practice! Stick the rows together line by line and then stick the completed lines together. It’s great for when you want to get your hands on a pattern straight away. Also convenient to have access to all sizes if your weight varies. Some French companies, eg Atelier Scammit don’t use Google and you have to install a different server to download patterns but it’s easy to do. Probably costs about the same if you take into account the cost of ink, paper and sellotape.

I think “zany” adequately describes the hat! 😂 Love my double Kate weekends and the longer the better! Have a great week! XOX
Really love the patterns this week especially the Liesl & Co blouse/dress. Thanks Kate,
Thank you!
oh wow such cute patterns!
What a fab week of newbies
I love that you call yourself old. From my perspective you are a mere youngster 😅❤️
I find them easy and the sticking and tracing off really relaxing.
I love that jumper dress! It looks very cosy.
Thanks Kate. 😊
❤❤❤
I’ve never tried PDF pattern. How easy is it ?

Yes. Definitely get it printed professionally. That does add to the expense. Also, it's not legal to sell them.
