Great breakdown and partership as always. Feels like the copper age represents better opportunity than the other ages. Maybe a higher level comparison video could be fun. #fanalytics
This is great stuff bro, I really love these breakdowns. I had no idea that there were so many graded copies of some of those on the list! Speaking of graded copies counts, at current, I own the only two graded copies of Popeye #8 (2012) Shawn Dickinson 1:10 variant on CGC/CBCS censuses. Both are CGC 9.8's. I'll enjoy this honor while it last! :-) #fanalytics
One of the more impressive pieces of data are the CGC census numbers. So many of these books are graded. It’s amazing that they sell for what they do, meaning the demand is still there. And most remain safe buys! Thanks! #fanalytics.
Great analysis. I have four from the list (ASM 252, 300, DKR first print, and Incredible Hulk 340). They are raw (never pressed) and at least 9.4-9.6. The best part, I paid cover price. I’m considering getting them pressed and graded. I recently took a magnifying glass to my ASM #300. It’s one of the most pristine books I own. I would love to see it get a 9.8 but I hear CGC is grading them more strictly compared to other books of the period because the volume of the high grade ASM 300’s that are already in the census. So I’d be happy with a 9.6.
As someone who has to sell off their collection a couple times seeing a bunch of books I had before and these prices kind of hurts a bit. Although for some I most likely will not try and hunt them again. #fanalytics
I think Copper Age gets a raw deal. Still so many great stories and origins as well as first appearances (at least outside of D.C.) Too bad lags so far behind Silver and Bronze Age in demand. #fanalytics
Very helpful information. I bought the ASM 252 within the last year. I have ASM 300 and The Dark Knight Returns from when they came out. That Frank Miller art on Dark Knight may be my favorite cover ever. I just missed New Mutants 98 when it came out. My LCS was pulling The X-men for me already but there was a crossover with New Mutants so he was pulling those as well. That crossover ended with New Mutants 97. When I was going through my old long boxes recently, I was getting excited as I was leading up to 98. But it wasn’t meant to be. I will use this video as I look to buy the New Mutants 98 and Incredible Hulk 340. Thanks so much. #FANALYTICS
One thing I’m concerned about when print runs are so high is that people don’t need the book for their PC anymore and the books are just moving from sellers to other sellers. It makes me nervous when I feel like collectors aren’t actually looking for a PC book. #fanalytics
Dam i Didn't Jump On The Ninja Turtles Comic in 84 untill The 5th Print Came Out Back Then...Had Lots Of Chances, Seen 1st Prints At The Shops Around 86 Going For Like $120 Buck's , Didn't Think it Go Up This Much Or Would Have Bought em 😢😢😢😢😢
Would you say the upside/downside numbers for grades around what was used in the video are plenty close to the video example (a 9.8 instead of 9.6). #fanalytics
Disagree with some of the commentary, but very solid list. You should've put a link to this video on the main channel....for newbies....and me. Evil Ernie is too rare (for a modern book) to define as a book to avoid. Being rare means a seller doesn't need to sell it for less price because he has less competition. Obviously, sellers could always decide NOT to buy, but all it takes is 1 person really wanting a copy. I have one that I don't plan on selling even if I upgrade. Constantine is a great character with a significant fanbase. I know, because my wife has become a mega fan....and she's not really a comic book reader. Anything she likes, I pay close attention to, because it's a way to read a future market.....analytics aside. I think all 10 of these are great buys right now. Interest rates are stabilizing and that's great news for all markets.
These books really need to be in 9.8, even 9.9/10 for even to be considered any kind of long term investment hold, If there's only 2 sales of a 9.9, 10 years apart, that's still data, and that's still a huge price gap of appreciation, you don't need to use the excuse of "Not enough sales data" Either it sold for more than the last few times or it didn't.
I just got AMS#129 CGC 5.0 and now I gotta get my last grail books TMNT#1, X-Men#1 1963,Hulk#181 and Cerebus#1 and my comic collection is complete. I also wanted to point out that you can tell the difference of the first, second and third print of TMNT#1 cause there there is less blood in the the word TURTLES.
I’m a huge spider-man fan but I can’t ever see myself buying an ASM 300 because of how high the print run is. It just kills the collectibility factor for me. Id much rather have a nice silver age key for that price.
TMNT is king 👑. First prints are on everyone’s list, but few leave collections. I wouldn’t sell my copy for FMV because I would never be able to own another copy. #fanalytics
copper often turns green over time...maybe that was the plan all along; eventually the copper age will turn into the turtle age?! Just like a mutation due to some secret ooze-zone??!!
Outstanding analysis Ryan 👏The hard analysis for me to extrapolate is when to sell.
Thanks!
Very informative video. Thanks Ryan
Thanks!
Really appreciate the time and energy you put into giving the community great videos and a window into your comic journey. #fanalytics
I really like the way you interpret the data. Thank you for all the work you do !! #FANALYTICS
I'm more of a Silver Age guy overall, so videos like these from Ryan and #fanalytics that keep me up-to-date on Copper are awesome.
Great video. Need to deep dive the past videos on here. #fanalytics
Thanks! Hope you enjoy them.
Great analysis! Eager to see what #fanalytics does in the future.
Great breakdown and partership as always. Feels like the copper age represents better opportunity than the other ages. Maybe a higher level comparison video could be fun. #fanalytics
I love these breakdowns. Keep up the good work. Hopefully the top 10 Golden Age Comics will have some issues that aren't too unattainable. #Fanalytics
Golden age is tricky for these types videos since they sell so rarely.
Thank you for putting out some of the best comic content on TH-cam! Gives me hours of enjoyment and knowledge #fanalytics
Appreciate it, thanks!
Really great info on timing in these turbulent times. #Fanalytics
Appreciate it 👍
Great content Ryan!!! Got some of these already 🙂

Your videos are always great and it’s always great to get a
X-men silver age comic.

Thank you for this math filled video.
Just subscribed. 👍

That’s definitely true. There are a lot more of them compared to other eras. But there is much more demand too.
Great analysis.

Nice ryan these are awesome. Love the days and info. ❤❤ #fanalytics
Excellent breakdown of ROI for all the books! Subscribed. Do you use GPanalysis for the historical prices @AutomaticComics?
My sense is that copper books at large have further to correct, so I'm focusing on finding deals in earlier eras. #FANALYTICS
Great Intel ! #FANALYTICS
Appreciate it, thanks!
#Fanalytics, nice list & GAW
Thanks and good luck 🍀

Still appreciating my Hulk 340 that I won from you... Nice vid. #fanalytics
🎉
First! Hopefully ASM 300 is doing alright I just started the video #fanalytics
I think Copper Age gets a raw deal. Still so many great stories and origins as well as first appearances (at least outside of D.C.) Too bad lags so far behind Silver and Bronze Age in demand. #fanalytics
Good info, thanks! Any ideas why these modern books have so many non-universal copies? ASM 300 has about 20%, NM98 13%, seems high #fanalytics

Great info! Excited to see what #FANALYTICS has in store.

X-Men issue 7! the last early issue that I need for the run! #fanalytics
#fanalytics this list totally makes sense. I would be interested to see 11-20.

I thought you were gonna troll us and put your nemesis book at #1 (G.I. Joe #1 😅) #FANALYTICS
That one falls into bronze =). But I did consider issue 21.
Cool sounds good.
How do you determine what you buy in golden age comics?
#fanalytics
