Hi. Got one just the same but wont run as smooth as yours. Got any tips on where to start looking ? Hard to find good info about these lovley things Thanks
My father beautifully restored one with a sidecar, from 1930. Unfortunately he committed suicide and we sold the bike because we were in need. I often wondered how one would use the manual oil pump on the tank......
Very cool putting around vets stadium, around streets I know. Hey still for sale? I'm in the 'hood, you may have seen me on my 35 VL, or in my 36 Chev panel,,,,,
Damn mann, that was cinematic when you passed them birds in the lot.
I fell in love with this year.
I will have one.
What always seems to amaze me is that these old Harleys never seem to vibrate as much as the newer ones.
Having a much lower compression ratio helps a lot with vibrations
You havent ride an old one apparantly
@@christopherjustice3342 Nope, have not. Maybe appearances are deceiving?
My 88 softtail had a rubber-mounted engine like most HDs since then. It was nicer than my 85 Sportster!
@@TheBluesnbob My '87 Softtail Custom was rigid-mounted but was pretty smooth anyway. Loved that bike!

Nice job on the restoration! Wish I had the coins!
very cool old VL some bumpy roads over there just like Australia ,cheers Rob
Gorgeous bike!!
Interesting how you start an old Harley !! Kinda of fun too . Not great if you're in rush lol , might forget a couple steps
Glorious to watch and listen to. Superb restoration.
Id love to have that old scoot.
I'm so happy to see motorcycles so old and coool for ride to ride again and again for many many years to go 👍👍👍👍🤘
1st Kick....very nice!
The one that really started it all. A Harley is a Harley no matter what year.
Except when it's an AMF
Oh Dude! How cool is that!
Nice restoration. Finding compression is tricky sometimes, your Harley starts as nice as easily as an Indian.
Omg I'm in love
Awesome!!!!!!!
Very cool, thanks for posting
