Man that place is looking awesome!! Love the wood! Under no circumstances should you paint that maple! Seal it and let it be beautiful! I like the colors in the ceiling
So sorry about your forest Jeremy. Mother nature can be wicked sometimes can't she. I guess you'll have to warm up the sawmill and make some lemonade. House looks fantastic! Take care and have a wonderful rest of your week! 👋
Nice progress on 2.0, I like your colors and as it’s a “ country cabin” I believe natural finishes are more appropriate than the colors you expect in a subdivision home,,, just my opinion. Wow, what a stash of wood, between the reclaimed and nature’s food for the woodmiser, you have a few winters worth of project materials! Better start planning 3.0 😇😇. Stay healthy and happy my friends, spring is just around the corner!👍👍👍
Nice progress on the new Airn BnB Jeremy. Thanks to Rondo for ending the video clip with his entertaining comments! For his birthday you could add some lifts for his shoes. He might need them in Vegas! LOL! Go get'em Rondo!
High Ceiling and beams colour is spot on. Nature has provided next years Timber supply from the storm. I think he has a fear of not landing rather then flying.
Looking good on your Airbnb, it's really coming together. I don't like going against the wife but she had her chance at picking the color. Lol. I like the black. And it looks like y'all got more ice damage out that way, too.
I love what you did in the main with the beams and the ceiling I am doing the same thing in my kit home the ceilings were only 7 1/2 feet high so in the living room I’m putting wood up on the seal on the rafters minor will be white though and then will clean up the beams that are roughhewn and from the 60s so they’re full to bys and it’ll look kind of like yours only mines white
Great work love the maple
It ended up costing more than what I coulda store bought pine, but I appreciate the story and beauty it provides.
@@CairnCreek yep that makes it so cool . Keep up the great videos buddy.

I conquer! Tell Ms kim there's a paint shortage. 😁
She agreed to let me just seal it. We’ll call that a win!!!!
@@CairnCreek yes sir!
That Ms Kim is a keeper!

I’ll take a little tree damage, not the worst thing I reckon.
The place is lookin great Jeremy, keep up the great work. Always look forward to your next video.

I’ll admit, I’m a little excited about cutting some of the beech trees. It’ll be all summer long cleaning that mess up.
Always inspiring! Amazing when they say whatever looks good then it doesn't look good!!!! :0 :) :) LOL
My thoughts exactly!
Really like the 1/2 exposed truss and wood ceiling.
I was skeptic at first, but now I believe it was 100 percent the right call.

Wife wants to get him shoes that light up when he walks. Haha
Wow lots of work in the woods to do my saws are sharp and ready!!
Skidder time!!!
That lumber would work well for the old west town building fronts you talked about building a while back.
No doubt. I thought about that. Hopefully I can start that project this year. Need some dry storage in a major way.

Looks great! Did you mill that maple yourself ?
I cheated and paid someone to mold/plane the ship lap maple. Hopefully I can get an industrial MP in the near future.
@@CairnCreek Nothin wrong with that. Enjoy your channel!

Try tellling her that, haha.

Good deal. The biggest issue I had was sneaking the t-g boards up thru truss bottom cord.
place is looking great.try using soap on your screws they'll go in easier.
Interesting. I’ll try it.
I just realized shorty looks like Rhondo 2.0!
Oh boy. Hopefully B-Rent doesn’t read comments!
With all that canopy gone you'll have a bunch of browse for deer. Venison!
I’d like to get some Eastern White Pine groves started in the bare parts.
a lot of work a head of you cutting up the trees like the 2.0⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳
Yep! I’m ready for golf course maintenance.
First!
Hell yea!
Looking beautiful! You need to find a Native American that can translate Cairn Creek and name 2.0 the same as Cairn Creek.
Great idea.
