V-Star Down! Broken drive axle on 2009 V-Star 950 on Easter weekend 2024

What was supposed to be a 10 minutes simple job of replacing a rusty old nut turned into the possible end of this bike.

In most cases you get what you pay for! In this case you got screwed! Don't buy something that has the Worst reliability!

A very stupid comment. Yamahas are some of the most reliable motorcycles. This happened because the belt was probably too tight from the factory. It’s a known issue.
