MULTISOURCE Splashdown Webinar #7 - Stakeholder Engagement Gender

On September 10th, 2024, the MULTISOURCE Splashdown #7 brought together experts and practitioners to discuss how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can be designed to be more inclusive, specifically benefiting marginalised groups such as women, people with disabilities, and low-income households.
The event featured insightful discussions led by:
🔹 Ana Kalin: Policy Maker and Analyst at Forum for Equal Development (FER) and MULTISOURCE Partner
🔹 Katharine Cross: Nature-Based Solutions Program Manager at Water Sensitive Cities Australia and a member of the International Advisory Board of the MULTISOURCE Project
The session explored how inclusive approaches to NbS can build resilient communities, enhance well-being, and support local economies. Participants learned about strategies to integrate gender and social justice into NbS projects through effective funding, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, featuring examples from diverse regions and initiatives.
