Irish Rail Commuter IE29426 ~ Maynooth - Dun Laoghaire ~ Lansdowne Road - Blackrock

Hello everyone and welcome to another video, today we have a ride onboard one of Irish Rail's stranger services, probably as a result of whatever timetable changes they made again. Anyways, this service runs down to Dun Laoghaire onto platform 3 and turns back to head out to Dundalk. That is the only time in the day that platform 3 is used. Anyways, here we have IE29426 running down out of Lansdowne Road and speeding through Sandymount, Sydney Parade and Booterstown at speeds of around 80km/h at some points before arriving into Blackrock, so enjoy!!

Great catch! I've never heard or seen this route before but it sounds like a great addition to the Irish Rail network! This could potentially be a peak time service if it runs during the morning and evening times. If not then it really is a stranger service haha!
