Thank you for this Video i'll be ordering an Eheim. I bought a Nano Air Pump but i know it wont be good enough for a 10 G aquarium so i tried the Tetra Whisper and that one was Loud like the Fluval
Wow that Eheim is impressively quiet! I have 2 Sicce single-air pumps and they make an annoying vibrating noise 'errrrrrr' all the time, one of them has higher db than the other as well. I'm on the lookout for the quietest air pump and so far this video has put the Eheim at the top of my list. Thanks!
Came across some youtube review air pump with the background music on. Noise level is also important factor in making decision to buy an air pump. I really appreciate u gave this in dept review touching on the noise level too:)
I have the q1 it's been running over 4years non stop it got a bit loud after 4year so I bought a replacement diagram for 8.50 and it's quiet again it says in booklet it's 45db when it comes to loudness but I tested mine at 29/31db the test ur doing isn't fair as the eheim a smaller pump n shud be quieter due to that I don't know why u messure the it don't matter about size

to be honest i would use a Tetra whisper the fluval is loud compared and the eheim gets louder with age and loses air flow

Eheim is way better engineering, that’s why it’s quieter.
@@mongolnaidz iv never used an eheim airpump so I can't say iv got many eheim filters n heaters and there the best iv used

That Fluval was rubbish, it should have on the box “for outdoor use only” with that noise, not practical at all
