Well it is true that today in Purana's if we look 1 Chatura Yuga = 4.32 Million years but it is over exaggeration rather 1 Chatura Yuga = 43,200 Years that is more plausible as it is possible that it was initially 43,200 years but then got changed to 4.32 million years for some unknown reasons.

Another beautiful thing about this number is that it also explains how they got Age of Brahma(Total Age of Universe) and Current Age of Brahma(current age of Universe), It's easy just assume that since the beginning of time to till present age of Universe let's compress it into a single Year so if we are able to calculate 1 second of the Universe we can calculate the Current Age of Universe also, now what they needed was a Cyclical way to Represent time or some sort of Cycle present in Universe which was Precession of Equinox as 25,920 Years and 1/60 th part of it being 432 Years they used it as 1 second of the Universe and all 60 parts represent Transitions which make one complete cycle of Precession it's just similar to what it is in Seasons in a Year like a Year has 4 Seasons which are basically Transitions similarly they used PADA's as Transition 60 of them combined to form one cycle so 1 second was 432 Years and Compressed One Year would be around 360×24×60×60×432 = 13.436 Billion Years, so according to there logic Universe should must be atleast this much Older as we have compressed the Current Age of Universe into 1 Year in our Initial Steps. Hey Zuzana. I've been watching your channel for a long time and I really like the content you put here. It's refreshing to see someone dive into these subjects with open mind and curiosity. Your reaction to geopolitics and economics related content is very informative as well. When you begin exploring things of this nature though, i.e. Religion, Ethos, Culture, unfortunately a lot of non-critical thinking psudoe-experts surface. And in this is the age of internet, they get the clout they desire very easily. We as Indians have long sought after answers to our past, history and legends. Even I at first was very much fascinated by this perticular fellow in the podcast with Ranveer. But honestly speaking his "research" isn't satisfactory and doesn't go with the plethora of evidence we have that well meaning scientists (Non-leftist Agenda driven) have gathered. Most respectable among them being 'B.B. Lal'. It is indeed a need of the time that these topics need to be explored by experts unbiased by Marxists or Colonialists. Unfortunately, some opportunists ruin the image of true Dharmics working tirelessly in this cleansing. Would just say that taking this type of content at face value would not be very academic and perhaps a bit of critisism when exploring these topics (Hindu philosophy, Ancient History, esp. I always say to be able to get the facts and evaluate them in the right context has become really really hard. Hence, I always take things with a pinch of salt as if you think about it - you may have an argument with your friend they will see the same facts as you and interpret it based on them - no wonder there arguments. We have a saying in Slovak I judge you according to me. We will all have varied perspectives I think it's important to understand what are our filiters and what else we don't know and don't consider and. I think when you are going back to history it's mission impossible (it's already hard to do it person to person) 🙈

@@kaling_108 Well Yuga cycles is itself a long topic to explain but allow me to explain it to you so this thing that 1 Chatura Yuga = 4.32 Million years is Incorrect but you can't really change the fundamentals of Yuga Cycles from being in the ratio of 4:3:2:1 to something like 24,000 years, hold on let me explain it, so this has nothing to do with Nilesh Nilkanth Oak what I am claiming is just result of my own Curiosity so firstly, 1 Chatura Yuga is 43,200 Years and not 4.32 Million years now how do I know about see there is a fundamental thing in Yuga Cycle which is division of Yuga Cycle into 4 Parts Satya,Treta,Dwapara and Kali Yuga but on addition to that it is in the Ratio of 40 % : 30 % : 20 % : 10 % , Now when we use simple Logic about Yuga cycles they don't add up to History if we use 4.32 million years cycle like there was no one in Treta Yuga or atleast 2.592 Million Years ago Constructing Forts Palaces and Civilizations itself rather first Australopithecus started to evolve around 2.6 Million years ago so it is totally incorrect on that basis and it happens when texts pass through thousands of Years some errors do Occur so without doing anything strange with the Yuga cycle the Natural thing you can come up with Historical Time frames is 43,200 Years, Now Divide them in the form of Satya Yuga Treta Yuga...so and so on, now there is one more thing which is also mentioned in Yuga cycles in Various Purana's which is Sandhi-kaal or Transition period which stands for 1/10th part of Each Yuga you can check it on Wikipedia yourself and this is something which is very important to this concept which I will talk soon but first let's focus on when do we know Kali Yuga started which is 3,102 BCE it was taken from Aryabhattiya where Aryabhatta mentioned that 3,600 years ago Kali Yuga started as he was born in 498 AD so it's 3,102 BCE where we reach Naturally but since we have that old school 4.32 million years cycle in our mind we tend to Ignore Transitions or Sandhi kaal now the moment you accept 43,200 years cycle the transition period also gets shorten and guess what Dwapara Yuga is 8,640 years so according to that the transition of Dwapara Yuga should be 1/10th of it or 864 Years, now subtract the 3,102 BCE with 864 years and you get 2,238 BCE where this Transition Ends up and Now if you convert 2,238 BCE into years it's 2,238 BCE+2024 AD = 4,262 Years and Kali Yuga is basically 4,320 Years old so we are left with 58 years still for Kali Yuga to End up which will end in 2024+58= 2082 AD, now since we got the end point we can manage to find out starting and put out all transitions also within the Yuga cycle so following is the Result:
[15,552 Years + 1,728 = 17,280 Years
11,664 Years + 1,296 = 12,960 Years
7,776 Years + 864 = 8,640 Years
3,888 Years + 432 = 4,320 Years]
41,118 BCE to 25,566 BCE(Main Phase Satya Yuga) and 25,566 BCE-23,838 BCE(Transition Phase of Satya-Treta Yuga), 23,838 BCE-12,174 BCE(Main phase of Treta Yuga) and 12,174 BCE-10,878 BCE(Transition phase of Treta-Dwapara Yuga) and 10,878 BCE-3,102 BCE(Main Phase of Dwapara Yuga) and 3,102 BCE-2,238 BCE(Transition Phase of Dwapara-Kali Yuga) and 2,238 BCE-1,650 AD(Main phase of Kali Yuga) and 1,650 AD-2,082 AD(Transition phase of Kali-Satya Yuga).
Now you might be thinking that I would place Ramayana and Mahabharata according to these dates since my Transition periods are in 12,174 BCE-10,878 BCE for Ramayana and 3,102 BCE-2,238 BCE for Mahabharata but No it is still Incorrect because the Definition we have currently in knowledge Regarding Yuga Cycle is of an Utopian state where everything was better in Satya-Yuga or Golden age and Everything got bad in Kali Yuga but that's just false Narratives spread by Baba's now watch it, Satya comes out of Ignorance or first there is Ignorance and then after some time Truth, like when you were baby you were full of ignorance and didn't cared much since you were under the protection of your parents but once you were aware of yourself at present you are not that much ignorant because you know how to live in this world same goes with a seed to Plant journey or Big Bang to Present Universe Journey similarly it goes with Human Progress also first Humans were hunter gatherers but later they evolved so the Main phase of Satya Yuga is all about Hunting gathering and Cognitive Evolution of Human mind and during that course the result was Origin of Yoga and Meditation as a Tribal Practice which is marked by the First Transition which is Satya-treta Yuga Transition which is basically explains the golden age thing as Yoga and Meditation was related to Moksha or Ultimate truth and then these practices continued generation to generation in Treta Yuga and then we have Next Transition called as Treta-Dwapara Yuga where Agriculture started and people started to form Settlements and due to that Yoga and Meditation became mainstream or simply got popular throughout Indian subcontinent and we can also give some credit to Adi-yogi/Shiva/Rudra/ Mahakal one of the First founders of Yoga and Meditation that is Known to us but on major part Yoga and Meditation got Popularised because of Agriculture and Settlements then these practices continued throughout Dwapara Yuga until we Reach Dwapara-Kali Transition where Humans formed first Urban Civilizations like Egypt Mesopotamia Indus valley civilization and it is in this Indus Valley civilization we have first evidence of Yoga and Meditation in Seal-420 Pashupati Nath seal from 3,102 BCE-2,238 BCE according to Yuga Cycles and 3,300 BCE -1,900 BCE according to what we know in our History from Archaeology, so the main question is when was Yuga cycles created well they were created after the Completion of 10th Mandala of Rig Veda where similar Division of Varna System appear from Purusha Sukta into 4 parts or roughly around 1,900 BCE-1,700 BCE there is another reason for this date since the person mentions Kali Yuga so he has to be present somewhere around that period and you can guess that we know from 1,900 BCE onwards Indus valley civilization declined so he must have created it in between 1,900 BCE-1,700 BCE anywhere in this period but when Migrations happened from Indus valley to Indo-gangetic plains and this is the period where people moved from Urban to a Rural way of living where they forgot about the Concept of Yuga cycles that why were they created it was first of all a type of time calander and secondly it served to Explain "HUMAN PROGRESS" specifically nothing else but later on Narratives got added to it like Ramayana happened in Treta Yuga and Mahabharata in Dwapara Yuga but the Yuga cycles themselves were never created to Record about wars Rather it was just about "HUMAN PROGRESS" and then we are left with dating Ramayana and Mahabharata Ramayana at around 2,000 BCE-1,700 BCE and Mahabharata at around 1,200-1,000 BCE and this is purely based on Archaeology and Linguistic studies and it has nothing to do with Kalki and all of that because the person who created these Cycles was Mayasura who wrote Surya Siddhanta so it is my assumption that it might have originated from there, now at that time whoever who was not part of Vedic Puru-Bharata clan and lineage were considered as Asura and they call themselves as Daiva's so that's the origin of word Mayasura consider this like we have Purana's which is Puru+Anu Books or books carrying the legendary stories of Puru and Anu Tribes where Anu's were Iranians living in Western Pakistan and Afghanistan Region and they have this book called Zenda Avesta which is just same as Rig Veda and mentions Daiva's as Villains and Asura's as Hero so these are all Tribal cultural folklore and because Puru's used to call other tribes as Asura's we have influence of Puru's and the Kuru's so it is because of them that this Vedic culture has influenced whole of India because during Mahabharata or around 1,200-1,000 BCE India was a sort of Empire but using Barter system under Kuru's but there influence was not limited because all of them were sharing these practices since 2,000 BCE so Veda's were used everywhere, Veda's got composed in between 3,500 BCE-1,700 BCE Roughly watch Shrikanth Talegiri's Internal chronology of Rig Veda.
@@kaling_108 Now Yuga cycles were based on Precession of Equinox and Orbital Eccentricity of Earth, Mayasura have figured out Precession of Equinox to be around 25,920 Years and Eccentricity to be around 0.01671 or 1/60 now You might have known the fact that when Earth moves around sun's orbit for 72 Years there is a Precession of Night Sky view of stars by One Degree or 1°= 72 Years, similarly they were using 6° as 1° for themselves and named it PADA or 1 Pada = 6 Degrees of Precession of Earth, how do we get this number Eccentricity of Earth is 1/60 which they used in 25,920×1/60 form or 25,920/60 = 432 Years, so they were using 1 PADA = 432 Years (6° in Modern calculations) since 1 degree of change in sky is hardly Noticeable.
Now you have got 100 PADA = 43,200 Years now this was used just because the Mayasura wanted a Map to get fit into a calander from where he can somehow point out all the Transition points which happened in History like Origin of Yoga and Meditation (Cognitive Evolution) then Agriculture settlements and Popularization of Yoga and Meditation and lastly Process of Urbanization.
Another beautiful thing about this number is that it also explains how they got Age of Brahma(Total Age of Universe) and Current Age of Brahma(current age of Universe),
It's easy just assume that since the beginning of time to till present age of Universe let's compress it into a single Year so if we are able to calculate 1 second of the Universe we can calculate the Current Age of Universe also, now what they needed was a Cyclical way to Represent time or some sort of Cycle present in Universe which was Precession of Equinox as 25,920 Years and 1/60 th part of it being 432 Years they used it as 1 second of the Universe and all 60 parts represent Transitions which make one complete cycle of Precession it's just similar to what it is in Seasons in a Year like a Year has 4 Seasons which are basically Transitions similarly they used PADA's as Transition 60 of them combined to form one cycle so 1 second was 432 Years and Compressed One Year would be around
360×24×60×60×432 = 13.436 Billion Years, so according to there logic Universe should must be atleast this much Older as we have compressed the Current Age of Universe into 1 Year in our Initial Steps.
Then they used just simply an Old man's Analogy like 100 Years = Total Age of Brahma then 1 Year divided into 360 Days 1 Day divided into 28 Nakshatra's which are basically 28 Manvantara's with 14 Being Brahma's day and 14 Being Brahma's Night then they again divided Manvantara into 71.428 Chatura-Yuga or simply diving 43,200 years with 3.072 Million years which gives you 71.428 chatura Yuga or vice-versa, people thought that it would be handy to create big figures to understand or have some kind of understanding about how old could Mountains Tress valleys Rivers and many more things could be.

Hey Zuzana. I've been watching your channel for a long time and I really like the content you put here. It's refreshing to see someone dive into these subjects with open mind and curiosity. Your reaction to geopolitics and economics related content is very informative as well. When you begin exploring things of this nature though, i.e. Religion, Ethos, Culture, unfortunately a lot of non-critical thinking psudoe-experts surface. And in this is the age of internet, they get the clout they desire very easily. We as Indians have long sought after answers to our past, history and legends. Even I at first was very much fascinated by this perticular fellow in the podcast with Ranveer. But honestly speaking his "research" isn't satisfactory and doesn't go with the plethora of evidence we have that well meaning scientists (Non-leftist Agenda driven) have gathered. Most respectable among them being 'B.B. Lal'. It is indeed a need of the time that these topics need to be explored by experts unbiased by Marxists or Colonialists. Unfortunately, some opportunists ruin the image of true Dharmics working tirelessly in this cleansing. Would just say that taking this type of content at face value would not be very academic and perhaps a bit of critisism when exploring these topics (Hindu philosophy, Ancient History, esp. Archeology) would go a long way to stay away from frauds.

I always say to be able to get the facts and evaluate them in the right context has become really really hard. Hence, I always take things with a pinch of salt as if you think about it - you may have an argument with your friend they will see the same facts as you and interpret it based on them - no wonder there arguments. We have a saying in Slovak I judge you according to me. We will all have varied perspectives I think it's important to understand what are our filiters and what else we don't know and don't consider and. I think when you are going back to history it's mission impossible (it's already hard to do it person to person) 🙈
